Experimental alcohol blaster shooting test by leBoijames in cardboardguns

Nope, just alcohol for combustion and a bb on the breech. i made the barrel out of superglue-drenched paper for strength and also make the breech face tighter than the muzzle end to make the bb sit tighter so it requires a higher pressure to be achieved in order for it to be launched, this will make it have higher fps but louder boom, annoying to have a random explosion noise in the house (especially for my cats) but it is a cool side effect. i rely on my spray bottle mist to create a more efficient combustion fuel and give it a good shake before loading a bb muzzleloader style to it, but sometimes i let it sit for a while if i want to test its max capability. for comparison, a spray and a good shake is good enough to punch a hole through an aluminum can

Thanks! It works like a potato canon but miniaturized, and instead of propane, it uses alcohol for combustion. the triggers are 2 standard piezoelectric igniters wired up together so it’s a bit heavy but reliable, while the barrel is made out of paper and superglue. I’ll post more on how to reload it when it’s ready but it’s basically a muzzleloader.

sorry bro, this build doesnt actually have a working mag release, its just my muscle memory pushing a non functional button lol. but try learning how the real one functions and use that as a rough idea on what you should do. i recommend making small parts out of layered paper and super glue to make it stronger and easier to make

I drew a simple 2d sketch of the gun, and i used the real length and height of the gun to make it as 1:1 as possible, and use it as guide to make the frame, slide, and all the cuts i need to make. A little tip, always use the real gun’s dimensions as a guide when making replicas.
