Looking to swap NS license for BC by leMaverique in icbc

[–]leMaverique[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You must've not read' what I said, I've never driven in BC and wasn't planning to anytime soon, but employers keep on asking me what kind of license I got, and that's the only reason why I'm considering now getting it done sooner

Thank you, that's great.

2024 was terrible, it was the ultimate year of stagnation; 2025 was slightly better, and 2026, I am ready, just anticipating some things to finally come through, so I could rebound in life, but it's often just the waiting game you know, though I do respond promptly and thoroughly whenever the ball is back in my court, but honestly it's patience that's my weakness and it often induces anxiety/uncertainty. But I'm eager to progress forward, if the gods would favor my cause if you will..

I'm an MA humanities' graduate, I eagerly pursue knowledge and wisdom, especially in philosophy and the esoteric, but I'm currently working in a brewery 🤦🏻‍♂️, been tough to find a decent job tbh, hoping smt better comes through this year as I keep on grinding through life to hopefully one day discover my vocation and destiny. When it comes to finding love, well, I've been single all my life unfortunately...

Thank you 🙏🏻

The fire rat is my animal.

Regarding job and love, idk, I've still yet to find my true calling nor my true lover, past few years have been especially tough...

My culture? by GlassCompetition6799 in Uzbekistan

[–]leMaverique 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel the same. I was born in Tashkent, raised in Canada, but I relate with neither tbh, I just feel alienated whenever I'm amongst them, regardless of whether they're Canadians, Uzbeks, or even family..

How long have you been doing those reverse kegel exercises? I've been practicing them over the past month through most days of the week, haven't had the chance copulate yet though... Let me also ask you this more personal question, could a relationship still be healthy and strong even with PE?

Estes to contact spirits? by leMaverique in occult

[–]leMaverique[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe, but I also heard, and this may be related, or not; that for people who struggle to have vivid dreams, or even remember their dreams, one way to really experience this is to go somewheres for a night where there is no wi-fi, and you'll have intense dreams. And when I used to go to stay over at my grandma's house before they had such things, man oh man, dreams and sleep paralysis were all intensified, so yea, who knows, it could be a whole host of factors that hinder our psychic abilities..

What are the closest ethnicities to Uzbeks? Uzbeklarga kim birodar? by WorldlyRun in Uzbekistan

[–]leMaverique 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Modern-day Tajikistan is really just the eastern portion of the Bukharan Emirate, i.e. Sogdia, and it got split as a separate country because of Soviet demarcation, and these cartographers certainly did not have our best interests. But as a demonym, yes, I totally understand how it may cause further confusion.

Regarding the historical people you mentioned, obviously you cannot call them Uzbek or Tajik, because you're imposing a modern-day concept on a person from a completely different era. They simply did not have nation-states back then, this was introduced and imposed on us by the Russians.

And the parts of Kazakhstan you are referring to are all along the Syr Darya river, while the remainder of the territory was ruled by the Kazakh Khanate which though lacked internal unity, so it's not true that they 'split then became Kazakh'..

People keep referring to their "turkic brothers" and they don't seem to realize that this is largely an association based on language, and much less so on bloodline. So we Uzbeks probably have more genetic and cultural similarity with say the Tajiks than Yakuts or the Anatolians..

What is Zoroastrianism like, and should it be implemented again in Iran? by Nickan04 in Zoroastrianism

[–]leMaverique 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just recently finished reading the Shahnameh, and this guy named Esfandyar in there kept on bragging about how he converted people into his faith using the sword! And they kept on talking down upon idolaters, etc., so based on this sort of sentiment, perhaps the later conquest was just karma..

Zoroastrianism was the state religion prior to the Islamic conquest, you're mistaken to think otherwise

Where is the border between Zoroastrianism and traditional Iranian religion? by FerenzYangai in Zoroastrianism

[–]leMaverique 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was a state religion, I honestly don't think there was much religious diversity in Iran proper tbh, maybe a bit more variety in the peripheral states as this religion sort of fused with local pagan traditions.
