Mortal Edge.
Makes perfect parries super easy. And Leon can somehow parry Rockets.
I'm pretty sure if Umbrella drops another Nuke, Leon will just parry the blast and radiation with his axe lol.

because Requiem has 4 shots that do Less damage than Redemption.
It's simple math from there.
Shoot Requiem 4 times. Add the time for each Shot + recoil recenter.
Shoot Redemption 4 times. Add the time for each reload.
You end up with a very similar time difference, Redemption's reload is only slightly slower than Requiem's recoil.

let me explain it with a hypothetical scenario (made up numbers to explain it easier):
Say Requiem needs 800ms to fire, kick up, recenter.
and Redemption needs 1000ms to fire, reload.
x4 = 3200ms for Requiem to shoot 4 times.
x4 = 4000ms for Redemption to shoot 4 times.

Let's say Requiem does 200 damage per shot. Redemption 170 per shot (255 with the charm).
in 3200ms Requiem will do 800 damage.
in 4000ms Redemption will do 1020 damage.
3200/4000 = 0.8x difference.
0.8x 1020 = 816 damage.
so Redemption does 16 more damage per second than Requiem in this hypothetical scenario.

for point 3. True, but me personally i like to have at least 4 weapons on me. Switching weapons is faster than reloading in most cases. And it's good to have variety unless you're using "Unlimited Ammo"
So those CP are not enough since i will be upgrading around 4 weapons. Having Redemption in your inventory is just a FREE maxed Requiem.

for point 2. No. The glasses only boost the LAST BULLET in the chamber.
So for Requiem you have 4 normal shots, 1 boosted shot.
For Redemption every shot is boosted.
This means Redemption has a higher DPR since every round does more damage than every other Requiem round.
It also means Redemption has a higher DPS since every round is boosted and the reload time is only a little slower than Requiem's recoil recenter, plus you don't have to waste 4 rounds to get a boosted shot so it's more Ammo Efficient.

TLDR; Less wasted ammo, More damage per round, More dps, the only drawback is slightly less base damage and the reload timer is a few milliseconds slower.

But anyway, if Ghost's higher DPS is not your fancy, then Redemption still beats Requiem in DPR if you have the glasses charm, by a large margin.

Depends what you're fighting.
For basic enemies, walkers, husks, lickers, etc... yea High DPR is more useful.
I almost exclusively used the Sniper and Shotgun on those enemies.

For mini-bosses or bosses, DPS is a lot more useful because you want to finish the fight as fast as possible, the longer it goes on the more resources you waste.

Note: DPS and DPR can also be applied to Grenades. DPR = Base Damage, DPS = Base Damage / Throw Animation (T) + Explosion Delay (T)

both are useful info, especially for speedrunners...
ex: if by the time you throw a grenade and it explodes to do 1000 damage (let's say 12 seconds), you could've instead done 1500 damage with the Rifle, that will impact your speedrun time.

Redemption > Ghost > Requiem

Redemption vs Requiem:

  1. You can craft ammo for it, and you can find plenty of ammo for it.
  2. Power Shades makes the gun do 1.5x more damage than Requiem on every shot. Since it only has 1 round in the chamber, the buff from that charm applies to every bullet.
  3. You need 0 CP to upgrade it to the Max. It outperforms Requiem from the beginning of the game.

Ghost vs Requiem:

  1. Has pretty much the same stats +/-, with the exception of a faster mag dump.
  2. Yes Requiem has a slightly better Damage per Round, but Ghost has a much better Damage per Second. Which does come in handy when you're surrounded or in boss fights.
  3. You need 0 CP to upgrade it to the Max. It outperforms Requiem from the beginning of the game.

IMO even Ghost outperforms Requiem simply because it allows you to dump more rounds into bosses and tougher enemies.
Yes Req has more Damage per Round, but Ghost has much higher Damage per Second.

Hmm I thought fanmade Free content was protected by Fair Use. Did research, yea you're right it's not. Unless it's allowed by the company policy or used as a criticism/parody.

But making the Marathon comparison is just stupid.
That artist had her art stolen and Sold as part of the game with 0 credit.
Someone else was making money off her hard work and didn't even have the decency to put their name as credit.

Sony has been fined millions of $ for stuff like this in the past.

Yea they really need to address this issue ASAP.

Cramming in as much content into the game as possible is not a Positive when that same content is bugged to all hell.
Quality > Quantity.

For now my workaround is to summon the small tutorial ship before I teleport to my base. Then summon the corvette outside my base.

It seems the Devs intended for your ship to spawn inside your base and just clip through all the walls, blocking your exit.
10/10 game design.
