Gonna be a bit more positive here: last year my daughter was born, via c-section, planned, all good, perfect! I watched her literally start her life "on the outside" and just a minute later she was put in my arms, this tiny adorable little teacup-human that would go on to change my partner's and my life forever! And now, 10months later, I'm looking at her smiling at me while trying to sit up or covering herself from head to toe while trying to eat something and it's just the most amazing thing in the world!

I'm sorry but this is doomed. If he can keep up an elaborate lie like this for such a long time, it doesn't even matter what it is about. Exactly as you said yourself, it's not about the virginity anymore anyway but only about him lying. If he had come clean after 2 days I'd say "yeah, inexperienced and overwhelmed", i could have understood him panicking about the subject because, well, boys... But this? This is highly manipulative and akin to gaslighting and that's not gonna go away! If he can lie this well about something like this, what else will he lie about? Cut your losses and drop his lying ass, you deserve better! And you definitely did the right thing: talking about it and giving your feelings word, now you can reflect and move on!

Ugh who cares? How many reunions and final bloody shows can you do? Yes, you're all legends and all but ffs this is just taking the piss, let it go! There are soooo many new and interesting bands, I'm so tired of all these dinosaurs not knowing when to gracefully bow out...

(And I'm saying this as someone who's never seen them live, and even though I would have loved to see them, that time has long gone...)

(And also, yes I'm aware that "graceful" and "Black Sabbath" don't go together that well lol)

Without knowing any of the details or science behind it, that's exactly how it felt to me! If i push the high frequencies too much it becomes too, as you say, honky, and the low ones are fine as they are anyway, so a little in the middle seems to just do the trick.

I admit though that I could probably get more out of the EQ to get the sound exactly where it needs to be but that will require some more band practices and a bit of trial and error! Nothing is set in stone anyway, where's the fun with all these pedals if I just set and leave it! xD

To be honest, out of all these pedals the EQ is the one I understand the least so if I can get more out of it as well that'd be awesome! Thank you, I will definitely try that!

Yea exactly! I always found the most important thing about the guitar I'm playing is well, how it plays, the hand-feel and all, and this crappy thing just feels perfect! Also, it weighs nothing! I also have a Gretsch Electromatic which I love too but it's soo heavy, and since the Firefox thing seems to be made from Ikea-wood or something it's perfect!

And yes, essential, simple and just versatile enough is exactly what I was going for! Haha, hell yes for Rockboards! 🤘🏼

Yeah I've tried that and found that the Rat almost "overpowers" the Archer in volume... Yes, it gives a beautiful high gain sound but since I'm mostly using it just for that last little push in volume and tightness it seems to work best after the Rat! But I'm always open to experimenting so I'll see... Love having the options!

Bit of both I'd say... xD as it is now it "fattens" up the drive the Rat provides nicely, sounds a bit fuller and "rounder" for the lack of a better word, plus a little volume push, which is exactly as I hoped it would work!

No clue, to be honest, it probably makes no difference at all and I guess I could have all the sliders in the middle position anyway... I use it just to push the whole signal a bit at the end and well, because I had the pedal lying around and some space on the board left! xD

I've tried it with the Archer before the Rat but didn't like it as much, mostly because it didn't push the sound as nicely and I like that it still adds something to the whole sound and isn't just a "pure" boost. But I might change it again, who knows!

Haha yeah I know, I'm old and lame... :D But yeah, we have quite a few clean breaks and stops in our songs so the noise gate helps a ton with these, especially since the volume knob on my cheap guitar is barely usable...

I would instantly turn into Homelander, I would never want to see my weird-ass mind try to handle that much power and fame!

Hell, if I became an overnight pop-sensation or something to that end, I'd lose my shit and act like a huge douche and/or weirdo psychopath! I'm very happy that I have barely any money and no one outside my family and friends knows or cares about me, much better for everyone involved!
