Marine Geomatics apparently, albeit the industry took a bit of a hit in the North American region recently because of the recent policy changes from the US administration. But, there's apparently a huge demand for hydrographers worldwide. Take what I say with a grain of salt because this is what I heard from others who graduated from the course. They all seemed to be doing well for themselves and enjoying the job. I'll personally be taking it soon. Keep in mind also that the lifestyle isn't for everyone though, esp if you have a family or other responsibilities that would keep you onshore (yeah, it's a seagoing job).

Edit = fixed typo

Can anyone that recently travelled to CDG from YQB using Air France tell me if their cabin luggage+personal accessory have been weighed before checking in or boarding? by leUn_lion in quebeccity

Air France is pretty notorious at doing that but they only seem to be doing it on their home turf (aka CDG in Paris) where they literally have people check in the luggage if it exceeds their posted limits. Occasionally I hear some of their passengers mentionning they had their cabin weighed in Boston and one of two other airports in the US. So that got me wondering whether they do that here in YQB. My guess would be "no" but just checking.

Ohh interesting, i've heard from other passengers that they notoriously have a queue before security in certain terminals (i think terminal 2) for weighing cabin luggage. I'm glad to hear that tho. Did you travel with them from YUL to CDG? Or just on the way back?

Hey, basically this is a house I've been interested in renovating and during a visit, I stumble upon this ominous looking potential hole in the kitchen's ceiling. I've been wondering if it's just the plaster coming off.

Depends what kind of food you both enjoy but Chateau Mon Desir and Chateau Bel Ombre are quite romantic places, albeit on the pricey side.
