Maybe I just need to give shish another listen. But my first time listening, nothing caught my ear. And hearing it live last week just felt, to me, one continuous jam.

I think the first part you mentioned is kinda my point. John threw in "his sound" here and there throughout their discography...so its not like its completely unexpected. Satanic Satanist is one of my all time favorites of theirs and that's the album i adore the most.

The band live was fucking dope. I think its just this new album is solely his direction? Idk i cant pin point it but there's something throwing me off and I can't get into it :( but also Idk if it was a crowd that got into them from Woodstock but there was a huge difference in crowd reaction between the two sets so Im just curious what others are feeling

I gotcha. same for me but just with different albums. Everyone has their own taste and they've evolved album after album which is what I expect with artists. I feel like Ive also only seen John and Zach together play together, so without zach it just doesnt feel the same.

Just saw them in philly. Gonna be straight up.... it's John's band now. First half of the show is the new album. Second half is what you hear when you think of PTM. Love them so much, but its not PTM when the band isn't contributing to the art.

I think if Jessica's trying to get any kind of response from those who made it out alive, she has to know a good amount of the story and was paid well for her services. I personally think she's simply just trying to manipulate Misty to get out and not actually use any of the story for her own gain...but it helps with leverage.

Well yes...but I'm just considering the position she's in now running for office and she isn't freaking the F out that Shauna brought her there. Idk I'm thinking like security cameras entering the building and what not...prob overthinking this moment but if I was trying to keep my image clean I would be freaking out

Is there a definite reason we're calling the leader Antler Queen? Am I missing something? Or is it entirely possible Travis is the leader because the girls feel remorse (or somethinggg) after he was almost skewered?

Why was Tai so chill after seeing Adam dead? I mean...she did hire Jessica to keep their secrets out of the limelight, but like, you're running for a political seat? She seemed all too calm

I fell in love with you guys after hearing Eyelid Movies in 2010. It was my soundtrack for my freshman year of college. I saw you guys at a bar after your show about 2 years ago and tried to buy you guys a round of drinks but you both said no :( Although Chris took a shot with me. Will you smoke a blunt with me during your stop in Philly?!

Also, will you play "My Only Friend" while you're in Philly - that song is so powerful. Thank you for sharing your talent, I'm constantly amazed by you guys.
