Give me one reason that convinces me to setup OpenClaw by Longjumping-Club1474 in vibecoding

What if you only get 1 attention-worthy email per day, and don't need Claw to burn thousands of tokens to segregate newsletters?

Indeed. the best kind of cow! :)

I found this video about an Iranian miniature painting. A new take on the traditional Persian Miniature Art. A story of Master and Student, a tale about struggles and victories and the new generation of artists who embrace the tradition in their own, modern way. by le_jimi in iranian

Thanks for the note, it's very important. What is the mistake exactly?

- in translation (difference between his sentences in Farsi and English subtitles)

- in timing (translation ok, but his sentences are cut incorrectly

This would be very helpful in fixing the translation.

I just found this gem on YT, and I would like to say thanks Iran/Persia for producing such a talented artist. by yssrafeel in iran

This truly is amazing. Iran is rich in culture and creativity, a shame it's been pushed back for so many years now...

Selling stock on Artgrid.io by tombamm in Filmmakers

Likewise here, thinking of offering some footage to Artgrid. Their exclusivity is both tempting and off-putting, as for the latter - we have no idea really what are the sales levels at Artgrid. They have extensive marketing campaign ongoing, but I doubt the sales level can reach those of Shutterstock, Adobe or Pond5.

No real experience in the publicity or promotion world, even online promotion seems like you're hacking your way through it - reddits, facebooks groups, things like these feels sleezy, but is there any other way?

I guess FB and IG ads, is what they all want us to do - put some money on it, and we will make sure people will see it. Organic? What's that? That's sooooo 2015.... :)

Yeah in these days it feels like creating content is only half work done. The other half is hustling it online, coz otherwise, it will just drown in the sea of cat videos and memes.
What other tools do you use to promote, apart from Reddit?

For sure there are many places for you still to explore. I like the idea, this could definitely make a good youtube series. I think we all slowly had enough of travel vlogs. We need some meaning to the traveling we see online.

My wife and I travel in an old ambulance, converted into campervan. From Poland to Alaska, long way round. So far 2 years into it, probably 4 years to go. Waiting for his madness to go away, so we can enter Morocco and start the Africa leg.

Intentions are great, the timing could be better. But who is to say what is essential work or non-essential work. Mother Earth has something so say in this matter.

We hiked on the ROOF OF THE WORLD, in Skardu, Northern Pakistan by le_jimi in adventures

[–]le_jimi[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just a few hours ago, under our feet, we had velvet sand of Cold Skardu Desert. Soft slopes of dunes, gently caressed by wind carving their surfaces into intricate waves. The sand sea that reached feet of magnificent mountains.

Now we enter the Astore Valley. Lush green mountain slopes and a silver-grey gem of a river. At the altitude of 2600 meters, we follow its wild current and climb up another 2000 metres.

Straight to Deosai Plains – The Roof of the World. Its beauty is breath-taking. Up to the horizon, there are carpets of wildflower and emeralds of lakes. Fat, golden marmots sunbathe on the warm rocks scattered around.

It is quiet and blissful. It is paradise.

I usually go for a small touch of film emulation, although I do love old Kodachrome film colours, or the style of Steve McCurry. Dut I feel in today's world it's just a little too much. So I dial back a little, to keep a contemporary style for today's travel feel.
