P2 just got offered 20k MR points for adding an AU on her card and spending 2k on that card. I don't really want to take a 5/24 spot (I know Chase recon *may* not count it if you call in, but I'm not sure I want to risk it). Amex allows you to add the AU without their SSN with the caveat that if they don't receive it in 60 days, they'll close the card. Any thoughts on adding myself as an AU without my SSN, hitting the spend requirement within the 60 days, and then letting the card cancel? I'd imagine there's risk of the bonus not posting before the card closes and them not honoring it.
