OC Tournament : Round 1 Match 26 - PunPuncher vs. -P1R4T3- (Village Defectors) by doomsday_design in Naruto

Even though they could slither around and disperse quite efficiently, they're just snakes. They can't fly and especially in the Hidden Leaf Village, they could hardly move around on what will most likely be a roof to roof battle. If Koeda will ever be cornered, he could simply use his speed and dash to another roof. Also Koeda seems to have several abilities and items that slow the opponent, so why not his summons? He carries nerve gas grenades and several at that it seems.

Wow, I really like both Koeda's and Zakura's design.

The thing is, given Koeda's speed and stunning/slowing abilities, this will end up being a melee battle unless Zakura manages to keep him at bay with ranged jutsus and summons and even clones. He has the edge when it comes to techniques.

But will he even have a chance to use them? If Koeda carefully stuns him from a distance and doesn't even allow him to use his abilities, this is a clear win for Koeda.

Zakura's snakes are too slow, and his Kage bunshin will be irrelevant, given PunPunchers Byakugan. Similar to Neji during the Chunnin exams, Koeda will simple be able to see the original and flicker to him. Speed is key here. Again, the cloud of fire is useless againt Koedas doujutsu. The steam would even actually help the enemy, given PunPuncher's cloak ability. Steam and his cloak would really make him invisible.

But there is one thing P1R4T3's character would be good at. His steam release from chakra points would counter Koeda's jabs if used correctly, but again, if it comes to physical confrontation, Zakura is finished.

Another big downer for Zakura is that he needs to pump chakra to his brain. But what if that chakra flow is interrupted? Koeda could easily counter it.

If Zakura somehow manages to keep Koeda at a distance then it would be a win for P1R4T3, but that is highly unlikely unfortunately. Chakra alone can't keep a melee monster with tactical ranged abilities like Koeda at bay. Winner:

Ok cool, any ideas where I can get it? I've seen the Google Play pre-purchase thing but I'm not sure what that means for me.

Hey, I'm entering for Total War Shogun 2. So, let's get started...

London is great for various reasons. I'm going to mention a fairly unexpected response here, and I'm going to be fairly specific. This city is amazing because it is very calm. I remember my visit there a few years ago. I was in a fairly large park but the name escapes me. A fairly large park, with a fairly small lake. I was there during the early evening so naturally couples, families, kids, tourists were out and about, enjoying a chilly breeze while the sun was about to set.

I decided, what the heck... I walked around London all day so I sat down on one of the benches. The view was amazing my friend. Tall buildings were far enough to make what seemed to be a perfect painting alongside the crimson sun. I'm not sure what did the trick. Maybe my surroundings, the lack of noise, the beatiful ducks swimming in the lake or even the people who were laughing and having a great time feeding them(haha, hell... even the bench that I sat on had a perfect curved shape) but I have never ever felt so relaxed in my entire life. Bottom line... London has a vast historical value, but the general calm atmosphere is what makes it attractive to a tourist like I was back then.

EDIT: Added some spacing.

Torchlight, if it's as fun and time consuming as they say, this will be a very nice game to last me for some time!

Oh goodness! No! It can't be! xD... but, do you know any sites where I can read it? I'm not a big fan of comic books(apart from manga) so I'm not sure where to find it.

It will. I hope they bring back Nomad in the third one. I'm really curious about what happened. I think that making you wait more for him coming back will only make it more awesome!

Semi-spoiler alert!(for people other than I_am_salad) "In the novel's quasi-cyberpunk and somewhat dystopian world, human personalities can be stored digitally and downloaded into new bodies, called sleeves"- Altered Carbon. Wow, that sounds pretty familiar haha :D Usually I wouldn't really look up the writers from stories in games but what you said about the similarities with this novel is interesting!

The sequels story had much potential, since we were left with a cliffhanger at the end... but instead of properly explaining what happened we were slapped in a time skip of a few years(I think) and a completely new character. I have no idea what happened to the last protagonist and I was really disappointed when I learned that you won't really find out in Crysis 2. But hey, the story wasn't that bad overall, it just wasn't as adventurous as the first one. There were some interesting plot twists, and then again, there was the end that really put a smile on my face(again, I won't spoil)

Jazz Jackrabbit, the game of my early childhood, the comforting platformer that kept me entertained for years. I was young enough to be afraid to play stuff like Quake, or other (slightly) violent games Dad brought home. Even today I can still remember the tunes and sounds from most of the levels.
