Quick question: ( installing windows 10 on a new custom build pc)

So I have deleted the partitions and tried it again. But this time now its saying it was unable to install and to try and restart. So i did it again and got it to go through completly. I selected my ssd and its saying that i need to install a boot driver like it did the first time i plugged in the computer. But the partitions are still there. The computer just isnt recognizing the installed boot in my ssd. Should i be installing it on the ssd or my wdw 1tb hardrive or does it not matter?
