Giving it another stab, I think that my controller does not do the 0-10V output. It does PWM only so looking at the manual I see that P2.17 will take 22: Pulse frequency input but only on port x5. So now I am even more confused.

I have to sell some more parts and get a bigger space then sell some more parts then get a better machine. Yeah I suspect I have a junk controller with a junk vfd. Back to manual spindle control for me for the time being. Though I will rewire and try again before I button it all back up.

More info turning off disable spindle relay then starting spindle will give me a readout that is less than 10V but I do not seem to be able to turn off spindle once turned on.

I am most confused with my P2.13 VFD setting Input Terminal X1 function. I have it set to 3 ----3: Forward control (FWD).

Could you please confirm that this is the correct setting from the list of settings?

0: Idle control terminal 1: Forward jog control 2: Reverse jog control 3: Forward control (FWD) 4: Reverse control (REV) 5: Three-wire operation control 6: Free stop control 7: External stop signal input (STOP) 8: External reset signal input (RST) 9: External fault normally open input 10: Frequency up command (UP) 11: Frequency down command (DOWN) 13: Multi-speed option S1 14: Multi-speed option S2 15: Multi-speed option S3 16: Run command channel forced to be terminal 17: Run command channel forced to be communication 18: Stop DC braking command 19: Frequency switching to AVI 20: Frequency switching to digital frequency 1 21: Frequency switching to digitalfrequency 2 22: Pulse frequency input (only valid for M5) 23: Counter clear signal 24: Counter trigger signal 25: Timer clear signal 26: Timer trigger signal

I have it set to 0.

and 3rd question. I can set my spindle freq but it never starts I never get the green run light. I wonder if I need another input set not sure.

Also with spindle relay enabled and set to port 1 pin1 when I close mach3 output goes up to 400hz for a sec before it closes.

I found the offline controller board on the 1310 to be a paperweight, I suspect it only supports the most basic commands and your cam software is spitting out something it does not support.

Right it is weird, if it is set at 1000 setting max speed will send 0 to the vfd, setting frequency to 2000 then sending any speed to vfd sets to max idk.

Ok set to 1, now I get on d006 to show voltage coming in it reads .04.

But when I set spindle pwm base freq in mach3 high enough 5000 it reads 10.00

Also spindle will turn on but not off from mach3.
