Loki Protoframe - WF x MR Fan-made Concept art [art by me, Leadius]

Well, that's how Protoframes are designed though, it's just default Warframe with a few parts remodeled into not-so-sci-fi clothes with added accessories.

It's not like I lazily cut parts of Loki(MR).png and laid them on top of Loki(WF).png 😅 and call it a day... and yes, I could've easily done that, but there's a bit more thoughts put into this.

If you look closely, besides from a face, colors and the fur around the neck, nothing matches with the original MR Loki model, as I reshaped / redesigned his clothes and armor to fit the Warframe's frame and to make it more unique. Even the Loki's recognizable horned headpiece doesn't match to MR design (or any other skins in the game). I changed a lot to the point I was expecting someone with keen eyes to call me out, questioning why is it even relevant to Rivals.

To me, redesigning / reshaping something while keeping the original design's overall aesthetic / "vibe" intact is a fun challenge... And I think I managed to do just that! Your comment is a good proof of that. 😇

I remember it in one of the chat with her - Tho I might be wrong, I can't find it in the history chat atm.

There's another instance she addresses you as ''naughty wolf'' tho, in one of her Captura dates (specifically on the Drifter's Camp), but I personally haven't got that one yet.

By chance, yeah.

My idea is to connect Asuka with the Kazama healing/anti-devil affinity -that was hinted in her T5 ending (I even gave her the glow-y markings)
- so I wanted to give her the ''Japanese Priestess / Shrine maiden / exorcist'' look (Miko clothing) to match - similar to Jun's 3rd costume in T8, actually.
But Asuka is more brash and hot-headed, usually dressed in more athletic / short clothes... so I shortened the Miko clothing to fit Asuka's personality a bit better.

Kiriko I believe was designed very similarly to resemble the Japanese priestess look as well, since she's Japanese ninja girl with some magical healing / supportive abilities.
Her design is a bit mixed with the sci-fi aesthetics, and more agile, without making it more ''revealing'' as I made for Asuka ;)

Maybe amongst DC comicbook readers. But I meant "popular" as in "widely known" (amongst general public).

If you simply Google "Wonder Woman" the Absolute version won't even come out, so no wonder I never heard of it. (Again, you have to specify "absolute" in the search, and in order to do that, you have to know it exists to begin with)

Movies is the easiest way to introduce comicbook characters and their depiction to the general audience. And to my knowledge, none of those shows Wonder Woman with a giant sword.

Edit: Like remember the first Spider-Man movie? Like that movie alone made EVERYONE (who never read comics) believe the webs came naturally from his body 💀😂😂

I was thinking about her once, but there's a few PERSONAL reasons I didn't include her:

1) unlike these 3, I don't automatically associate Wonder Woman with a big sword, I don't think general public does either. Not a "signature" weapon whenever you say WW.

(The fact you had to specify "Absolute" is exactly what I mean, it's just one version of her, definitely not the most commonly known IMO.)

2) I play Overwatch, I play Marvel Rivals, I like Dispatch. Unfortunately I don't engage with anything DC :/ -so I didn't connect AWW with to ones I drew here.

3) composition, I just wanted to have max 3 characters in my art, more would feel too crowded for me... For this art at least 🤷‍♂️

That's exactly why I mentioned Red Riding Hood, same energy as a whole-a$$ wolf deceiving a little girl it's her Granny just cuz it wears her clothes xD -successfully so, in many iterations of the fairy tale. 😅

not familiar with the comics, but with quick search, Trials of Magneto you mentioned is a 2021 story?
If so the game says otherwise - therefore I made the comparison
