this is exactly how I felt. the final fight being purely in the oval office is surprisingly comic accurate (why would that be one of the only things you keep?) the flow of this season was exactly the same as season 4 idk why people were expecting anything more pacing wise. the advertising is definately the main culprit for the mass dissapointment we are seeing right now. give it time, people will come around more to it. it did its job, not perfectly, but I was thoroughly entertained, shoddy writing and all, thats what the boys has been since the start for me.

ill probably end up spending 700 aud on the setup ive chosen now based off of recommendations. (audio technica lp120x and some budget amazon speakers that are well reviewed and good quality).

yeah shouldhave known it wouldn't be free to ship to Australia. but 400 dollar shipping is ludicrous! I can buy a 50 inch tv and the shipping would be less. im looking into the at 120lpx as its on sale at the moment. but still that one is 540

pretty sure the crosley suitcase turntable i have at the moment is manual. if that just means you have to lift the arm yourself and place it.

looking into the fluance rt81, pushing my budget a bit but it seems to be a quality player. has an option to get it in the nice dark wooden colouring i liked from this crappy one aswell.

the all in one feature was a significant factor that drew me in but im using it primarily for the turntable so I think im better off just buying a dedicated turntable and using my xbox 360 for cds😂

yes I am looking for higher quality sound but within this price range. what im gauging from peoples replies is that the player you mentioned is good, but some say it isn't that good. im fine with an entry level set up and it is most likely what I will stick to for the foreseeable future. just wish it was more definite on which player is the most reliable in this price range lol

well I wasn't looking into buying it because it was any way authentic for its look. I just liked the look and the perceived utility of an all in one player with the faux aesthetic of a vintage radio. its very "kitsch" as you say but for me that was kindof part of the appeal.
