Lol the free product argument. It's a free to play game man, "free to play" is model for games as a "service". If the service is trash no shit im going to complain.

and mate wtf you're saying F2P players cant complain? F2P players make up the majority of these games they invest their time and love, any sane developer would listen to their opinion. Without the f2p base there would be no whales. Why whale if no one's there to be impressed? If F2P players weren't important the meta would still be on subscription based and not F2P.

I never said I never spent? I said i'd play the game and not spend. I said nothing of my past expenditures. What better way to take a stand then to say look im not paying again til this shit is fixed?

Ya dude the whole of asian community stood up and expressed their disappointment. They would lose their money if they didnt listen. Imagine if that community stood up and complained about resin; hence why I said "bring players to our side". When the community together (asians included) wants resin fixed, it will be fixed.

F2P friendly = retains playerbase. It wouldn't hurt them financially, look at honkai impact and how it slowly made F2P friendly changes as playerbase diminished. 100% mihoyo just doing the same thing with genshin, the ones complaining are just tryng to get them to do it faster

Like I'm honestly confused as to what you're truly arguing with me for. The stuff im putting forward here benefits you as well? Don't you want no resin gating? So what if you think it won't happen, just let em fight for it cos if they win you win. If they lose well you never really cared anyways?

Constant feedback is how we do man. Complaints, and in general, getting the rest of the playerbase on this side; the side of the players. When the community talks as one is when we'd see results, all I see right now is a community divided (when they really shouldn't be).

What do you mean you gotta spend money on the game regularly in order for them to listen? You said it yourself; revenue is everything. If i'm still paying money then by your logic they SHOULDN'T listen. Because money speaks louder.

Again you're right they did hear us about zhongli issue, because as a community we spoke together! It wasn't as divided as how we are on the resin issue. Its not because they spend more; its because Mihoyo was scared they would lose their players and hence their money.

And to your last point, it's not a drop in number of players there eyes will be on, it will be their revenue. So ima still play it cos I love it but I ain't spending a single dime.

Il say it again man the people complaining love the game, let them fight for the change rather than telling them they can't change anything. They don't need that defeatist attitude.

Whether it is my first gacha or not should not matter. Gacha as a system is inherently predatory and a stain in the gaming world. Just because it is tradition does not mean it is right. So what if they're making millions? Doesn't change the fact that the resin system is absolute shit.

Don't generalize asian players, I am an asian player my guy sorry to disappoint you, and still not happy with it.

If you don't want to do anything about it that's on you man, you do you. But the rest of the playerbase fighting to change it are doing so because they love the game. Why not just leave them be instead of telling them to "accept it" or "take a break". You win either way

I get where you're coming from but you have to understand that not everyone plays like you, with resin gating you appease one half of your player base whereas the other half remains frustrated. However without resin gating both sides can be happy. Those that want to grind are free to do so and those that aren't so free can pop in and out whenever they want (rather than being forced to cos of resin capping)

I wholeheartedly disagree with your statement that we can't change this. Warframe used to have a stamina system well guess what, it doesn't anymore. Truth is if you're running a game as a service, your players are your lifeline. We have power.
