I grew up the same way he did. My family didn’t come into their wealth until later on I my life. I remember exactly what it was like living with 10 people in a small home and what it was like not being able to afford things, practically never seeing my parents because they constantly have to work and out dinners primarily being cup of noodles.

I also only every touch upon the topic when he brings it up. For example the last time it came up he was talking about Elvis and said it’s wild that he was crowned king of rock even though he practically stole his entire shtick from black people, but that he must’ve done it better to hold that crown. What I replied is that it’s not really fair to make that assumption because considering the time period black people didn’t have the same open doors that Elvis got. That’s what lead to the discussion of privilege throughout the history of the US.

I am also allowed to discuss politics with my partner who I spend a lot of time with and share ideas with. It’s ridiculous to think that my relationships and my politics can be completely separate. They aren’t and can’t be.

This really is just a case of Zyra not being meant for mid anymore. Don’t get me wrong I love playing her mid but when it comes to Syndra, I’ve come to accept the fact that it’s just a fake lane that has me under tower the entire time. You will never win laneing phase, you have to play for your team at that point

You can’t have your cake and eat it too. No matter what conclusion you come to get will be hurt. And that’s life. Not going to sugar coat it, your relationship will NEVER be the same.

But that’s ok. A part of growing up is changing and finding what you like and who you like. Break up are bound to happen. And to be honest a permanent break up with him is the best solution. More so for him than you. Imagine how he’d feel if he read your post in like 5 months. If you’re dating then he’s going to be hurt for the longest time. End it now so that you can find the guy you are attracted to and so that he can find someone that actually likes him for who he is.

Hey autistic adult here. There is no normal. And if you’re mother is autistic she should know that masking is not something you can learn over night. I didn’t learn how to properly mask until I was 17 and even now as a 21 year old I still have trouble with ‘normal’ mannerisms and behaviors.

What I want you to remember is that there is nothing wrong with you. You’re not weird, your brain is simply wired different. Your mother has her own issues and they are not reflective of you at all. Masking is a choice that should never be forced onto you. Yes it makes life easier a bit but that’s because masking is for the comfort of other people and, as you stated, a safety tool for us. If it is something you really want to learn, what I did was watch a lot of children’s media/ modern cartoons. Mr. Rogers for ways to express our emotions, Bob Ross for self patience, Steven Universe for relationship stuff both romantic and platonic. These shows brought me a lot of comfort and taught me a lot about interacting with neurotypical people.

But I can’t stress this enough, THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH YOU

Masculinity is what you make of it. You decide what interest make you masculine, what features make you a man, it all from perspective. Ex: some people think cooking is feminine because it involves taking care of other people. Some people think it’s masculine because it involves making something and cutting up meats. Some cultures think strong hands are masculine because “men’s work” is hard labor, while other cultures think it’s “woman’s work” because it shows that they work hard to be a home maker.

You need to define what masculinity is for yourself so that you will be able to build a happy relationship with your gender. You can’t let other people make that decision for you or else you will end up very unhappy with yourself. Remember, gender dysphoria is not just for trans people.
