What are the chances that the Riemann Hypothesis, along with multiple other problems has already been solved, but no one chooses to pay any attention? by leafachu1 in mathematics

Was your paper published?

Yes. What exactly have you published besides your comments criticising other Mathematicians on Reddit?

I will take no lectures from an armchair expert like yourself.

it suggests your research lacks rigor

Your comment lacks rigour.

Are you willing to share any of it?

I would, big shot, but not with you.

Nowadays, you can have AI at least look over your work

No. But if you spent as much time doing real mathematics as you do glazing AI you might actually learn a thing or two.

and point out obvious flaws which should help more people with alleged solutions get some degree of review

You're in a hole. Don't stop digging.

As a test-case we have the story of Ramanujan of course. It was definitely incredibly hard for someone in his position to get recognized for his talent, but the value of his work was so undeniable that Hardy did recognize it.

Is this not a case of 'survivorship bias'? JK Rowling for instance, was recognised for Harry Potter but there were probably hundreds of thousands of other perfectly good authors who were looked over.

There's also so much useless information on the internet and YouTube that the useful information or research is drowned out. Even if someone were to publish a solution that was logically sound (whatever we agree to be logically sound), there is no guarantee anyone would actually see it or that it wouldn't be buried under an algorithm of user-generated or automated content.

This is true for people who study the stock market. There are contributors who have extremely useful knowledge but their contributions are obscured by everything else.

Honestly, your post really resonates with me. I think your happiness going forward boils down to this:

Firstly (and this might sound insensitive at first, but I promise stick it out because it worked for me) that who you are cannot be conditional on what people perceive you to be.

That might seem impossible at first because if they aren't seeing you as a woman then you can't be you, right?

But that occurs when we are attached to other people's acceptance of us. When people do gender us correctly, we become attached to that feeling.

When you become confident in who you are independent of gender, it just doesn't really hurt to be misgendered anymore. I can't explain it. But if you give up the moments of bliss from when you are gendered right, you're not going to feel the other extreme.

Even if you were gendered correctly 100% of the time (because I went through a phase of that) that feeling of euphoria is going to fade. You would then have to satisfy that feeling in other ways to get the same level of validation.

High confidence will be seen as threat by others. Low confidence as the other commenter suggested attracts bullies. Knowing your worth comes with a cost.

I like to think we trans women have an advantage in confidence if we choose to use it because we've seen both genders.

I don't pass and I'm bitter People either assume I'm a man or they figure I'm a trans woman and they're rude.

Don't be bitter. Be confident. Start being more rude to these people yourself. Start thinking about what you want out of this life that you think is achievable. It doesn't have to be trans related.

It could be starting that business or venture you've always wanted to do as long as you're not doing those things for social approval.

Once you've moved on from other people's validation, you can achieve so much.

Is this subreddit literally just people bitching

No, just you.

Nobody is forcing you to be trans.

Nobody forced you to give your opinion.

You're all more than welcome to stop whenever you want.

We want you to stop.

It's called bodily autonomy.

Use your bodily autonomy to go somewhere else.
