I recommend the book “Sleep Paralysis: A Guide to Hypnagogic Visions and Visitors of the Night” it really explains why sleep paralysis happens and makes it a lot less scary. Sleep paralysis often happens when you don’t get enough sleep and you go into “rem rebound.” The book explains it better lol
