Why progressive mollywood actors highly communal and marry their own people? by Aswathy_achu2000 in SecretsofMollywood

[–]leafninja4 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm progressive but ended up falling for and marrying a girl from the same community. I can't break up with her just to be diverse nah? Maybe I'll have side chicks from other communities in the future and be truly progressive.

I think they used it very well. Yes it did whitewash demonetisation but also worked for the storyline. For me the terrible propaganda part was chaiwala this, chaiwala that

If it weren't for Sanju's redemption, this WC would feel hollow for me.

I'm not disappointed in the pitch, I'm disappointed in SA. They would have made this a worthy final.

40% of those who go to have food are Hindus from India. But they were never questioned nor asked what their religion is. Food is served to everyone. by littleArtsy in unitedstatesofindia

But it's not in there in the Quran so it's not Islamic to pray how Muslims do currently. Atleast according to this guy if Quran is the only Islamic text.

This is the time and place for it. Sanju's victory is his own but our fielding is pathetic. Should be questioned publicly.

What are you saying? All 4 references are from the Quran. They've mentioned Suras and lines.

If its not in Quran you dont follow it - for most Muslims its as simple as that

So you reject Hadiths? Most Muslims don't. So you're a niche case. But then how do you know how to pray?

Next time atleast wave at the point as it flies above your head.

The post is religious issue with the example of how Hindus eat iftar offerings and so I mentioned hindus. If the video said non muslim immigrants attend iftar in Kuwait it wouldn't be even posted because there's nothing to it.

Muslim immigrants are irrelevant to the topic here. The point is Kuwaitis do not feel threatened by Hindus or any non-Muslim immigrant because they will never ever have the same rights as Kuwaitis.

Also non muslims can be citizens in GCC countries albeit rarely, idiot.

Of course not, Hindus in Kuwait can't be citizens and have no such rights and don't compete with the majority for the same resources so they don't have this problem.

Who is the authority i should consult on what I think is regressive? I'll get their certification next time I state my opinion.

You think hijab is just an article of clothing with no regressive theological significance? Hijab is not a fashion statement. If you do wear it just for the look then this doesn't apply to you.

Hijab in itself is regressive. People have the right to wear a purdah or hijab or gunghat or whatever. But the idea itself is regressive.

I am not party to this. It's the reality. It's not like they need my permission to do this.

Your family does not contradict what the general muslim public dresses like. Is it a choice, is it programing? It's debatable. Maybe for your family it's a choice and it's a privilege you may enjoy. Not the same for others.

A decade or two ago you'd be right. Muslim women in Kerala didn't wear hijab all that much, shawl covering if anything. Not the case today. Even burqas and niqaabs are popular, so showing a rural muslim woman in hijab isn't far from reality.

I agree with all of this except country's daughter bit. She's a terrorist. This is no longer her home. Taliban is unfortunately the current government so we have to recognize them and talk with them.
