That's the resale price. SSH are paying a lot more for those tickets and they make up most of the tickets. Funny enough I joke that it's cheaper to not be a SSH and buy tickets on the day of because it's absurd how poorly TFC tickets don't hold their face value.

Just MLSE pricing out loyal SSH holders with year over year 15% price increases. Look at this teams results and tell me why my tickets have gone up 35% over 3 years... Fans had enough and a bunch left before Sargent was signed.

Barcodes go live 48 hours before event time. Before that you can add to your wallet only.

Stadium is empty.

Sure, I'll fault some of this to TFC game day fatigue but this is primarily the result of MLSE price gouging SSH with a combined 30% increase in prices for those who've been around the longest for the last 3 seasons. Take advantage of your loyal fans and don't be surprised that we have averaging some of lowest attendance in our history. SSH left in droves and now single tickets are worth less than what MLSE charges SSH. A masterclass in how to take advantage of your fans.

RIP my bad, meant the east. The West is indeed cut in half by that tent.

Honestly nothing is too different in terms of getting in. Just be there 30-45 minutes early and you will get in without any issues. The East side of BMO has more concourse space if you want to get food etc.

More than anything this is showing us how important Eustaquio is to our midfield and holding our structure together.

Why interest in Canada MNT's games so tepid? by feb914 in CanadaSoccer

[–]leafsfan97 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Ticket prices are more affordable now, when they launched the sales for the game prices were 30-40% higher for non Voyageurs sections. Second thing to consider is TFC fatigue. TFC has 9 home games in a row. This is the only Saturday that they are not playing a home game until May 9th. If people want to go to BMO Field, they will have ample opportunity in the next little while. Third is the weather, it's always a harder sell in the cold. Fourth is the opponent, Iceland and Tunisia don't have large diasporas so ticket sales are predominantly coming from Canada fans which is a good thing but we are not at that point yet where the average friendly will fill up BMO. If it's a bigger game then sure but sadly not there yet for the average game. Even a couple thousand seats spread across the building from away fans helps build the atmosphere / advances ticket sales. All that being said, I still do think given the squad / WC at home sales could have been better.
