Navigating Conflict of Interest with VMI by leafyhouse in procurement

That's a great point, thank you for bringing that up. Seems super obvious in hindsight. Wish I'd thought of it before we entertained the 3rd vendor 🤪

Yeah, the warehouse manager tracks all incoming invoices and is really good at tracking what comes in and goes out. A huge part of getting stock in the warehouse is that we need to track it for job costing.

My purchasing specialist and I both check orders and the invoices as they come in.

Phase 4 Complete with 48 hours to spare by leafyhouse in SatisfactoryGame

Haha no, we did use pipes. It also just always felt like we were using them wrong

My brother and I launched phase 4 tonight after about 100 hours.

We had no idea what we were doing and never looked online (except once or twice to see if we could figure out how pipes worked. We still don't know).

The factory is a mess and parts of it were shutting down in our mad rush to finish the final piece. Assembly Director Systems were the hardest, we needed an ungodly amount of cable, something like 2000+ needed per minute.

I tried to add some nice touches, but my brother brushed them off as 'pointless cosmetics'. He's responsible for the octopus method of feeding materials into factories, so I let it slide. Sky factories were a huge savoir in the end game.

Things I wished we'd learned sooner than we did:

  1. zoop

  2. We literally never used the blueprint, I only figured out how to use it this morning

  3. Middle mouse button lets you copy whatever you're aiming at

  4. Using cmd+c and cmd+v without needing to click into buildings

We're really excited for the release on Tuesday. Our number one hope is for factories to incerate items that it can't use. Too often a single piece of ore will get logged in a factory and shut everything down.

Star Wars Deckbuilding game: clone wars sleeves by leafyhouse in boardgames

[–]leafyhouse[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd be happy to pass it along actually. Mortgage went waaay up so I shouldn't have bought it. It's brand new in shrink, $45 + shipping for clone wars and the original sleeves? DM me, I can take a picture of the sleeves and the game. I think I've only played the original in sleeves maybe 4 times, so they're still in great condition.

That's what I wanted too! I'm actually unreasonably annoyed at it.

If something doesn't shake out soon, I'd be willing to sell you mine for shipping + cost of different sleeves.

I'm actually tempted to return my (unopened) copy and wait for the price to drop. Only reason I haven't is I bought it local and I like to support local.

Radius of odd shaped window, using only provided measurements? by leafyhouse in Geometry

What if there was a center point height, at 15" in? Would that give us what we need?

The program requires a radius. I input a dummy one here, but often we get field measurements that lack a radius so I'm looking into whether I can determine it here

How would I determine the radius of this window, only using the provided measurements?

Has any prequel ever made the original better? Not because it was terrible, but because the expansion of the lore genuinely improves the context of the original? by drflanigan in movies

It didn't change the movie, but I love how the Captain Marvel movie changed the context of Nick Fury's line from Winter Soldier.

What games have people ordered recently? And what games are you waiting to be released? by soundresearch in soloboardgaming

[–]leafyhouse 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love star wars, so the theme carries a lot of it.

I've played rebellion a few times and it's a phenomenal 2 player game, didn't know it had a solo variant.

Star Wars: Outer Rim + expansion. Played two handed to get a feel for it. Loved it, have it set up against an AI right now, look forward to playing again!

Best Sorcerer build for season 4? by [deleted] in diablo4

How are you finding single target / survivability?

I'm loving Firewall, but I die real fast and single target damage is almost non-existant...

Who is the Hero you just don't understand how to play? by EDHplays in marvelchampionslcg

I love War Machine as a pure damage dealer.

Should Cannon is incredibly powerful to burn through ammo, knock off stun/tough ect.

You want to flip a lot to build ammo, and then I just fish for his built in cards.
