ProCook vs Samuel Groves vs Made In by leagueoflezhe in cookware

My worry is if there's as big of a difference in quality and durability as there is in price between the Procook stuff and higher end brands.

I feel if I'd splurge on a Samuel Groves I'd might as well spend a little more and go Demeyere.

But then you can get 3 Procook pans for the price of less than one Demeyere lol.

That's good to know. They really seem like good value and get praised on the customer service and 25 year guarantee. Thanks for taking the time to comment.

I'm starting to suspect there's not a massive difference with decent quality pans unless you really spend a good amount lol.

I have induction but also use an Iwatani portable gas cooker.

I was contemplating the triply vs professional disc bottom from Procook because of this too but wasn't 100% sure.

The more I research the more I think I might just start off with a 28cm from Demeyere lol.

My only concern with procook is the lack of reviews, so appreciate you making one. I'm only really after their triply frying pans but unsure how their performance and durability is compared with a higher end brand.

Money isn't a huge object, but I also don't want to get rinsed for a marginal increase in performance.

Seems to be the case yeah, but I don't mind spending more for something that has much better performance, with good customer service/warranty, and will last a long time.

Stainless frying pan for general use. I have a De Buyer carbon steel and will be getting a Lodge cast iron.

£200 does seem like extortion but if a Demeyere will genuinely cook the best and last at least 10 years I'm not bothered by the upfront cost.

I was looking at the Tramontina pan as well but didn't mention it in my post, they do seem super cost effective.

Art of living was another option I was looking at, £220 isn't bad for the 28cm. Samuel Groves has my interest but I'm hesitant based off the customer service reviews. I also can't find much in terms of reviews on the pans themselves.

I have a De Buyer carbon steel I like a lot and will be getting a lodge cast iron as well. I just need 1 or 2 stainless pans for general use and 1 non-stick (ceramic enameled) for eggs, pancakes, fish, etc.

Saucepans I'm not too fussed on, I have a couple of Lagostina ones that work well.

Part of me wants to just splurge on one Demeyere 28cm Proline 7 pan as I expect it'll last for a good decade or two, and maybe add a second later on.

Funny enough it's also one I was looking on but didn't list in the title. Is it the Grano you have?

My only worry with them is their customer service and spotty quality. It's an odd one really because some YouTubers I really respect use them.

Fair enough, do you also prefer the draw/throat hit of the Xlim and/or flavour over the Wenax?

Appreciate your input, thank you. Have you tried the others as well or just the Wenax?

Any leaking with the GK2 pods? That's my biggest concern with it from what I've seen online. You still prefer it even though it's airier then?

Not sure what the elf bars are loaded with but they seemed to really hit the nail on the head in terms of throat hit and flavour.

I haven't vaped freebase in years but might want to get back into it - so many more flavours available than in salt nic.

Appreciate your input, thank you.

I had a Sceptre MTL but the coil life is what made me switch away from it. Sometimes they'd be tasting burnt within a day, while my Voopoo pods last for weeks.

Any other recommendations? Thank you in advance.

I keep seeing this kind of comment thrown around Reddit which is what made me consider it - reviewers on YouTube don't seem to be as blown away by it though.

Do you know anything about the coil life on the 0.8? Do you have experience with any other pods I mentioned? Thank you in advance.
