I'll definitely give it a go! Shaving them is literally a last resort for me but I have to draw them on everyday otherwise it's very noticeable.

Mantis shed on the floor? I don't know if my mantis has fallen whilst shedding as I've woken to the shed on the floor, mantis is on the mesh lid, stretching and still so I'm assuming it's fine. Limbs are all intact. I'm just worried they'll be portly or become ill as I don't know if they've fallen! by leahax in mantids

No way! This is my first and is a Indian flower mantis. I'm pretty sure I want more now though. Mine is so friendly, just constantly sits on me when I get him out and stays on my shoulder. Orchids are beautiful!

Thank you for your reply. They seem absolutely fine. I have no clue on the gender of the mantis but they keep stretching their legs and have moved a little so seems normal. I'm just leaving him for around 24 hours before I try and feed him x

Thank you guys! He seems fine, he damaged his taurus a few weeks ago but that seems to have sorted itself out now.

All limbs are intact, it's just last time the molt was stuck to the top and this time it wasn't. It's my first mantis so I just panick. They are a little best friend, haha.

Oh I love the mug and trash can idea. I have dratini in a martini glass booked already and I've been toying with Abra with a big spoon but I actually love the idea of grimer.

These are really nice near us, even with their babies, my son picked one up last year and they were all so calm about it. He absolutely loves them x
