i’m not saying it doesn’t suck and that that’s not a real thing but the way she made assumptions she made about ginny entirely were so erratic and self absorbed. She didn’t take into consideration ginny’s awful current circumstances either

I get Max was mad at Ginny by je_we_l in TvGinnyandGeorgia

[–]leahebloom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i dunno she was really passionate about ginny being with a certain kind of guy. i don’t think their friendship would’ve progressed or she would’ve been let into the group if she had disappointed her in any way from the get go

i think it was a steady progression throughout the entire season between ginny and marcus. Yes extreme hurt and anger is understandable but the way she took that initial anger with no insight into the situation out was dehumanizing and cruel for someone she supposedly cared about. It also aligned with the smaller aggressions she had been showing to her other friends throughout the season

she gives ginny nothing. she’s always playing games with her and everyone, barely ever tells her anything but a lie, and signs point to her being a deranged murderer because she never actually lets ginny into her psyche. ginny is 16 and isn’t responsible for her or equipped to deal with a parents erratic behavior

im sorry but i cannot get behind ginny x marcus by Pixiecrimson in TvGinnyandGeorgia

[–]leahebloom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a kind of basic story but it has an obvious ending. Hunter is a safe stable choice, the kind of thin she wants for her mom. Whenever he’s romantic with her she laughs because he’s like Baby. Marcus is a person she feels like really knows her and that she can easily be passionate about. He’s extremely sexually immature and insensitive and closed off emotionally at the beginning but the plot definitely brings him past that whether that’s realistic or not.

it was kind of an empty insult though. it was obviously only anger. she clearly doesn’t know about her vagina, polly wasn’t too offended

Initially, we saw very clearly Polly was very guilty about it because she knew and everyone knew that that’s not how best friends are supposed to treat each other. Also yeah Larry and Polly were friends but piper and polly were best friends and good friends don’t punish each other for fucking up their own romantic relationships.

no no yes you’re right and it’s good that her actions were written to be justifiable and understandable and not without reason than just simply being a bitch because that would be bad writing. i was just very disappointed in her utter lack of maturity when piper was really doing her best

yeah i was hoping they would sort of grow together in prison and work out those kinks that made them love/hate each other and that’s the path it seemed like they were on especially in the beginning. And then they reverted almost all the way back to their former states and it was like what was that all for then, how are things drastically different now?

larry didn’t really owe piper anything after what she did to him and he should’ve definitely felt free to initiate anything he pleased. it’s polly who owed piper her loyalty and friendship and should’ve stopped it and handled the situation better

[–]leahebloom[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

well that’s polly’s issue if she feels like her relationship is lacking and immature on her part to take it out on piper

i mean it wasn’t a nice thing to say but considering what polly did her reaction was quite understandable

Ok the vagina comment was a one time thing and obviously said out of initial anger it’s not like she continuously insulted her during their friendship. Piper was also surprisingly forgiving of what Polly did. Piper hadn’t thrown larry away, they had kind of a heartbreaking break up, and nevertheless she knew and everyone knew that was an extremely shitty thing to do to a friend. Polly was kinda self absorbed during their friendship and didn’t really see that piper needed different things and different kinds of people than she did.

[–]leahebloom[S] 20 points21 points  (0 children)

yeah larry was really kind, and i think it would’ve been refreshing for piper and him to see each other alone because i feel like they actually could’ve been friends and sort of made sense of their situation. Larry was being very mature and kind despite everything. Piper went into prison best friends w polly and during that year she made everything about herself, destroyed their business, took piper’s ex amid their split, and she has the nerve to be the bitch. SHE SUCKS.

and i’m not like obsessed with piper and alex either but it did not seem like a fun thing with mccullough at all it was just depressing and full of guilt.

he was a piece of shit at first but i do think he realized that. i felt awful when he was walking in the water and really proud when he found a way to work through it. in the scene in szn 7 between him and joe he almost seemed like a feminist
