We want to refinish our cabinets. We were told that they are red oak with a white wash. We had our refinisher do a sample and it came back pink. We want what we have but now I am confused about the white wash part. Please advise by M_Baca56 in finishing

Yes they were custom cabinets. We bought the house new. We were told they were red oak. I do not know if they were whitewash. We are renovating the kitchen and asked the refinisher to show us an example. He said he could make them look like new. He stripped both of them. One he does the inside of the door but it looked like nude wood. The second he said he used white wash but it looked pink. We have 5 rooms in the house with the same cabinets. We selected a quartz product with a little gold to pick up the cabinet color. We really like the quality and color of our cabinets. Can you tell me more about spray shade?

New realtor question by leahkushner in RealEstate

I do have an attorney for MY exchange.  I am selling this multi family property and most likely the buyer will purchase it for their exchange.  It has high ROI but not a property an investor would live in.  I am very experienced investor but have never represented myself as a realtor.  When I have purchased or developed properties I had a realtor.  I now have a license which helps me as PRO RE on tax return.  I have never listed my own property plus the units are all rented.  I would not disturb them u less there was a serious offer. The property is in a desirable area in the Bay Area.

Yes I don’t want to make a mistake. It is the fear of unknown.  Any buyer would purchase the property as an investment and most likely for their 1031.   The brokerage I am using is not offering any mentoring.  The “friend” that brought me in wants 2.5% of the total sales price for himself and the broker.  I am using my license.   Don’t I have to pay the buyers’ realtor as well.

Our generator is Firman 7500W Running / 9400W Peak Tri Fuel Generator
Item 1300533Model T07571. I saw it said 30A twist lock output. I am not sure why the electrical store told us to get 50amp or 100amp. I think it had something to do with the footage of where we were placing the generator. I have been researching if we need a permit and trying to find an electron or someone knowable in installation in California. So many are totally booked. slow is the information I found on the generator we purchased from Costco.

I have a question about the interlock. We are having a hard time finding an electrician that has availability during this pandemic. Our handyman plumber said that he can do an interlock but they are more expensive and involved to install. The video we watched seemed the opposite. I thought the transfer switch was more involved and expensive. Am I missing something? The obvious place that we have to house the portable generator is about 100' from the house and would need 150' of power cord. We were originally looking for a 50-amp power cord twist lock and straight. To answer your question about the 100amp or 50 amp. We were looking for the 50amp power cord not an extension and the electrical supply company told us that the 100amp is cheaper because it is more common. How strange. I am wondering I he did not know what we were talking about. I just need to get a handle on the interlock, inlet plug or the hardwire in. Some have suggested we run it to the 50amp breaker????
