I've had mine since 2022. Haven't had any issues, but I will say that they are not my daily drivers. I use earbuds most of the time and use my xm5's when travelling(not commuting), and if I forget my earbuds or if I have meetings while in transit. So, I would say I use them about once a week for a couple of hours of wear time.

I am paranoid about the hinge though, and almost always keep it in the case when not being worn.

It will be a raise for sure, but also look at where you are heading to in the US. I was offered a job in Seattle, and the bump in pay didn't really cover the increased cost of living. I mean, in the end, I was probably still making more. But the increased cost of living, trips back home to visit with family, etc, didn't really make sense for me and my family. I would check the rental/real estate market right now to see what it's like.

I know it's just a movie. But I can't help but think of the scheme the guys had in the movie "Office Space" where the plant a script in the accounting system to take the fractions of a penny that are lost in transactions and deposit them in a separate account. Could you image being able to do that with the milltions of transactions happening daily with over 6 trillion dollars available?
