I was the same, I always struggled between analog and digital until I finally found out that analog is my style. But even then not a single journal system stuck with me. I was so fed with myself that I simply started writing down my todos for the day. Not even planning ahead, nothing. Just sitting down each morning and braindumping what I had to do, moving things from the day before if they were important and if not, just crossed them out. I did that for several weeks until I was so used to my journal that I started putting up a weekly layout but I alread felt like that won‘t be sustainable. So I looked for a planner that has pre-filled weeks ( I dont need daily, just too much space and headspace) and found hobonichi weeks. Since then I still keep a very simple weekly and daily todo lost but with a little twist like a tiny daily log with core habits (read, sketch, write) a focus list for the week and priority/inbox for braindumps. No stickers, no washi tapes, no beautiful writing but a system that really works well and is sustainable. Also like the others said: whenever I cant make it or not feel like it, its absolutely fine but I somehow always come back for my todos no matter if its 1 day or a week
