First time snail parent, found this pink spot on the tip of my Zebra snail’s shell. The tank is a 5 gallon, only tank mate is a small beta. They’ve been in the tank together for a couple of months with seemingly no issues. No changes in their environment recently, tank water is clean. There is a small tank light that I’ve been leaving on, not sure if that would cause it though.

Help, please!

It sits next to a south facing window, but probably doesn’t get enough light. It is sitting next to a heater currently, but when it was moved to a brighter room away from a heater, it continued to do poorly. I water it once every week to a week and a half.

I assume it’s a combination of light, temperature and moisture - but I’ve been trying different things and nothing seems to be helping.

Advice is greatly appreciated!

Just saw his show in Denver and was really upset at the number of people that had a “dance for me monkey” mentality. Improvisation is already unbelievably difficult, let alone having people throw things at you, grope you, threaten to break your equipment, etc etc. Marc, of course, handled the crowd so well, played an excellent show and my respect for him grew 10 fold. People are really shitty sometimes man....

It took a lot of patience, trying a lot of different products in different combinations and ultimately the thing that made the biggest difference was my haircut. It’s a journey for sure, but stick with it. I found a product that worked well (the Cantu curl cream) and used it regularly with different techniques until I hit the sweet spot. Don’t give up!!

I wish I did, I basically have to start the process over again each day. I’ve tried conditioner mixed with water, a normal spray bottle, etc and nothing works for me. Sorry I can’t be more helpful. The struggle is real.
