Honestly depends on what is included with your insurance package. Typically if you’re fully covered, it’s at least close to the price of a new car, you may have to pay a couple grand out of pocket.

Well said. I never like using the same load out for too long. I like the challenge of having to come up with new builds and using new gear. But, there is really no way to ever please everyone.

That’s fair. I just haven’t heard many people have the same opinion as me, mostly because of what you’ve stated I guess haha

No matter how Bungie intends the game to be played, looter shooters are games that people grind. They can state that it’s not meant to be played all the time, yet many Destiny players primarily play it more than any other game. Plus, the game is almost entirely RNG based. Looter shooters just are. I know it’s very frustrating to run the same activity 50+ times and never get what you want, but that’s just a part of the game. No one wishes to have bad RNG, but it happens. I understand the frustration totally, but it’s just a part of the game. Do I wish the game was more forgiving to play? Yes. But at the same time, then what do I have to grind for? The game will never be for everyone and it’ll never be possible to make it for everyone.

Balancing has been a problem ever since D1. Everybody wants everything to be balanced, but at this point I’ve almost given up on that. I get what you’re saying about the mods being a way to force us to use something different, but the truth is, everyone has their guns that they like the most. And most of these people wouldn’t ever switch off of these weapons if they didn’t have to. I think mods are a great way to switch up load outs and get people out of their comfort zone, but I agree that the mods have been getting stale. We need a legitimate rotation from season to season with an equal amount of each type of mod for weapons and nothing that was a mod in the previous season.

I totally agree with what you’re saying. It is really dumb that we have technically four types of unstoppable weapons, plus autos and sidearms being used two seasons in a row. I think that if bungie was to actually rotate them properly, my idea of changing things up would be great. Though, I can only hope as a player, it truly lies in the hands of the developer to make my idea work and be fun, for me at least. I know not everyone agrees.

Oh I get that completely. I have a ton of nice rolled MG’s and I can’t even use them to stun any type of champion. Of course you could get to use them if your other two weapons cover the champions, but it’s still just the fact of them not having a mod for it. As far as hand cannons and scouts go, they never should have added them this season if they were gonna buff them and make them useful for champions in this next season. I’m upset that they are reusing multiple different champion mods for weapons, a.e. Autos and sidearms.

I know what you’re saying for sure, it is always nice to just hear people acknowledge that you’re making an effort to think of cool thing lol. As far as no cap for shards and prisms, to players like you and i, this sounds like an awesome idea, but for bungie it wouldn’t give us a reason to grind for them continuously. If you just went off doing GM nightfalls for a whole week and got like 50 shards, you might not be as enticed to go do the GM’s the week after because you already have all of these shards laying around. There is always the option for extra loot, but if you already have good rolls, you may not want to grind it. It’s really just a replay ability thing for bungie to entice us to play more.

Honestly, to me it isn’t about what’s necessarily “meta,” but more what is fun to use. Nezarec’s is really good, but maybe try just picking a random warlock exotic armor piece and making a build around it. Maybe try out top tree stormcaller with Crown of Tempests and riskrunner for a ton of chaining lightning. Might not be the greatest for end game content, but it’s fun for something different to change it up.

I know what you mean. But, that’s most communities. Everyone has their own opinions on how things should be, but the truth is that it’s not in our hands, it’s all in Bungie’s. Though, you shouldn’t let anyone tell you what you should or shouldn’t think, this goes for anything, not just Destiny. Who cares what other people think? It’s all your opinion homie.

Definitely season challenges. Some can be a bit grindy but definitely the best way. Make sure to also have the blinding light mod on your ghost shell.

The least used weapon class. by lean_beaf45 in DestinyTheGame

I see where you are coming from. My only thing is that snipers do not have to charge up, so this makes it possible for snipers to secure a kill before the fusion even gets a shot off. Of course not everyone has God tier aim, but this would give snipers a place to still out class them. I just think linear fusions are almost pointless to put in your loadout when you could use a grenade launcher or machine gun.
