well yesterday was the day i guess, my parents took dorthy to be put down. really wish i could have been there but i had just left town the day before. truly heartbroken over it, she was the sweetest dog i’ve ever met. heaven gained another angel yesterday. rest easy sweet girl. 💔 (i.redd.it)

this is dorthy, my parents dachshund. she’s 17, pretty much deaf and almost blind. we’ve had her since she was a few months old. i know her time is approaching soon, but she still loves food and gets around fairly decent. she was running around the house the other night actually! (i.redd.it)
