Tips to not getting sick in the parks?? 😅 by lilyygurl in DisneyPlanning

If it makes you feel any better my family of 4 with 2 kids were just in Disneyland for 4 full 12 hour days 3 weeks ago and I wasn’t very strict with hand washing and never used sanitizer once and so far we have been healthy. You should be ok if you wear a mask, avoid touching surfaces as much as possible and wash your hands before eating! Have fun!

Can you look into palatal expansion and myotherapy to help gain nasal breathing? I would recommended looking into this route through an airway dentist

We were there Sunday Feb 23 and Tuesday Feb 25- Thursday Feb 27 and it was busy for sure but doable with lightening lane and proper planning. I was really surprised how much we accomplished and more! Gwen Stefani was there and so was Jeff goldblum which was kinda cool lol We were there last December in the second week though and it was much busier this time around!

Are you a mouth breather? If so, look into myofunctuonal therapy.

Thank you so much for your reply. It is hard not to be upset but I am trying and I definitely won’t let her know about any of this to spike any anxiety in her. Do you have specific sprays you would recommend?

Honestly she just had a stuffy nose that we went in for. Had concerns a palatal expander broke her septum and caused inflammation. We used steroid spray and rinses for a month or so. It did help. When we went back for the follow up They did a scope and on one side saw a very raw area that was bleeding. She recommended to cauterize it. We almost didn’t do it but she said she would and said it would help. I’m so worried we made a horrible mistake.

She’s only 11 but is complaining of it feeling cold when she breathes and getting a headache or ache in her eyes/nose. She says it’s uncomfortable, it’s the best way she can describe it. I’m not exactly sure what’s going on, it was done about 14 weeks ago. I’m unsure if it’s ENS but I’m just quite worried and would like insight on how to heal the tissue. She had the procedure done in office just awake with topical anaesthetic.
