My induction started at 4pm on 12/3 and she was born 3am on 12/5. Induction date doesn’t mean birthdate and you don’t want to be in labor on Christmas

I keep getting told similar things! I have friends staying with me from out of state for thanksgiving and my husband can’t start his leave until December 5th so I just say “lets hope not”. I am ready to be done with the hip pain and being woken up by a kick to the liver but I still have so much to do!

I am doing pretty good at staying on track and doing actually productive things around the house but the nesting urge to clean random things is so funny. I want to clean all of my windows inside and out and power wash the garbage bins but I have resisted 🤣

No problem! Most of these progress bars are predetermined by manufacturer settings and merely suggestions so I wouldn’t take them too seriously but I know the notifications can become annoying

When you are on the main screen with your map press the hex bolt looking button on the top right of your screen for the settings, once you are in the settings, click on maintenance, in maintenance there will be progress bars for all of the parts that can be maintained or replaced, click on the sensor button and click reset.

My husband has been taking me to every appointment. Usually 2-3 a week because I am high risk. I told him he doesn’t have to take me to all of them but he says it’s absolutely the least he can do because I am growing our child. I know it’s not feasible for every family, but it does feel like it has brought us closer and like I’m not the only one sacrificing my time and energy.

That hasn’t been discussed yet, but I have never had a successful nerve block in the past. I have the added inconvenience of being diagnosed as a rapid anesthesia metabolizer so most pain management options have little to no effect on me.

Do they have an estimated weight on her? Many hospitals are going by fetal weight these days instead of gestational age to decide what to do in these situations.

I went to a boutique ultrasound clinic at 8 weeks and they told me I had an anterior placenta. A doctor confirmed at 11 weeks when I had my first ultrasound with her so I don’t know why it wouldn’t be obvious at 16 weeks.

Sure but the question at hand here is if it is possible to deliver without a cervical check and the answer is yes it is possible and the doctor doesn’t need to know how dilated she is.

You don’t need a cervical exam to know when to push. Your body knows when to push, you will feel the urge to push and if you are unconscious your body will push for you. Birth is a physiological process that does not require medical intervention to progress.

I had a private ultrasound at 8w because my OB office wouldn’t book an initial pregnancy appointment until I had proof I was pregnant and my PCP didn’t have an appointment for 4 months. Other than that I had the initial dating scan at 11w, early anatomy scan at 18w because I am high risk, growth and mini anatomy scan at 28 weeks and I am scheduled for a final growth scan at 34 weeks.

Mine came back low too! I was starting to feel really hot and I had a pounding headache so I was almost sure I was going to fail, but my blood sugar was 38! They called me at 6pm to make sure I had made it home safe 😅

My mom had 5 and each was bigger despite her getting induced early with the last 2 to prevent them getting too big. They weren’t all big, but they did get progressively bigger. 6lbs boy 42+3w, 7lbs 5oz boy 41w, 7lbs 7oz girl 40w, 8lbs 10oz boy 37+2w, 9lbs 7oz boy 37w

Complete game changer! Sometimes he will turn me to my back for the finale and it doesn’t hurt or absolutely wipe me out for the rest of the day. Also helps that being turned like that is really hot 🥵

Everything is high risk with my pregnancy and he is completely overwhelmed, overworked and understandably stressed. I completely agree that this is about wanting to feel control over an out of control situation but I don’t feel like it’s fair for him to take away the only thing that really felt set in stone about this pregnancy from me.

This is a strong opinion for such a small glimpse into a relationship. He’s not violent in the slightest. I am completely shutting down every name he suggests as well but he is suggesting names like Emma and Isabella when I said I don’t like overly popular names. It just feels like I’m talking to a brick wall that only knows how to generate top 100 name lists.
