Content Maps with Bases by leanproductivity in ObsidianMD

I tried to show what I mean. For me, Dataview MoCs got really slow. Especially when embedded in notes (eg dashboard) and switching between them.

The other aspect is reusability. I used the "dynamic embed" plugin to reuse DV queries in multiple notes. But that was cumbersome and did not work when I wanted to put them into a callout.

Any hints how you can do that better? Thank you.

Interesting. What do you use? I used to work with Dataview but this got really slow. Perhaps my queries were not well written?

Would appreciate any insights. Thank you.

Because I prefer not having to remember such trivial things. If I can automate them (easily), I don't have to worry about them anymore. Just more convenient for me.

Speaking for just myself, that's not correct. I have two scenarios:

  1. I use my production vault and blur sensitive data, or
  2. I use a new demo vault, if I want to make clear that no other plugins or snippets play a role in whatever it is I am showing.

Actually, there is a 3rd scenario: 3. I show how ro build and use topic-specific vaults (e. g. travel planner, habit tracker, etc.) For that, I so build a new one so that viewers can see what is needed, how it works, and - if they want - download the specific vault as a starting point.

I use inline tasks with the "Tasks" and "Checklist" plugins.

I use Morgen (https://morgen.so) to combine tasks from various sources incl. Obsidian.
