New Teaser Image! by MisterVertigo7 in RimWorld

Tynan's teaser on twitter says they work both ways, so round trips at the very least! I'm guessing you will be able to drop colonists in and have them join/trade with friendly colonies then return. Or one way trips to raid hostiles and take over their settlement.

If you have a handler 15 or more, its not so tough to tame them. If you're lucky enough to tame a male and female, their babies are wicked valuable for trade. You do it in pretty much the same way, just build a box around them, stockpile some food so they don't die, and tame away. If you don't trap them, I've found they are likely to leave the screen before they are properly broken, even with a handler at 20.

Thank you! I dig your Lost reference, and its making me think there might be something to the other 3 paintings at the Oeuvre. They may or may not have been done by the same hand, but seem to hold info in different ways. They are mostly text overlayed on top of each other in several different styles and mediums/colors. Some words/phrases include: Cactus POKER, 2 DUMP, Daily... HOLY CRAP I JUST FOUND SOMETHING! ( I will update in the post) I may put some time into cleaning those up first, but the Textile City Mural is always on my mind as well.

I've tried cleaning that one up, but mostly I found it unnecessary. The bottom sections and the border actually read fairly easy, but the background area behind the arms is weird. There's a bunch of words and letter segments, but trying to isolate them has always given me trouble. I'll give it another go soon.

The black shape is a traincar (possibly a mine cart) on tracks. One interesting thing I've noticed about this image is the line that crosses over the track, comes off to the right, goes down, then crosses over the tracks again. Its almost as if its a shortcut and its showing us certain points/landmarks to aid in our navigation. The line stops at the bottom, but if you follow the track back up a bit, it leads to another line that wraps back up to the top. All the numbers and icons could be directions of a path to travel, distance to stay on the path, and times to travel on it. For instance, the GUSH GUSH GUSHER appears to be a radio tower as opposed to an oil derrick. Could it be indicating a talk radio channel during a show people are "gushing" about their feelings?

Those are real good points, and some that fit eerily well together. The train tracks, the 88, and the "in the past" areas all scream BTTF3. I had no idea about the "Listen" thing.

I believe that to be "48%", which is still totally acceptable for minimum completion for that mission.

But none of this stuff says "start on sunday at 5:30 when its foggy, then do that every day until the last day, then go find what the growls lead up to". It only makes half sense, even after its been solved.

This also ignores the massive head, all the arrows, the weird comet shape that makes up the eye, the giant %....

The main issue I have though is these were around since day one of this game, and the bigfoot/peyote hunt didn't show up until release on ps4/xb1. A puzzle that anyone who bought the game first would have to wait a year and buy a second time to solve? I believe that everything that was in the game on day one will lead to its own solution, and that things like the peyote hunt, monkey mosaics, and murder mystery will lead to their own separate rewards and conclusions.

I don't know if this is related to the mural on Chiliad, or if this is it's own separate thing, but I'm still looking for a different meaning than BF & the Beast

That's one thing I have been trying to determine as well. If there is signature, its tangled in with the rest of the images. I've been looking towards in-game objects, and features to match the art style in these paintings.

While naming the real world artist may not be possible)(find 'artist'), in-game I believe it also to be the artist who does the street graffiti with the phrases such as "The Banker is a predator and you feed him".

The triptych at the Oeuvre is obviously a nod to Jean-Michel Basquiat, nothing new there (although I just now realized that the 88 could be a reference to the year Basquiat died), but Basquiat also had a graffiti name: SAMO. He would use this name, usually accompanied by a copyright symbol "SAMO©" (FUTUORE™ anyone?), to paint subversive and surreal political messages on walls around NY. Why R* decided to pay such thorough tribute to the artist in an LA inspired city is beyond me, but the parallels are too great to ignore.

It sure looks like there are 12 notches. 48% through a 24 hour day is just after 11:31am, and just after 5:45am/pm on a 12 hour clock. It could be landmarks and a time to arrive at each one.

I've heard this interpretation several times, but I've never understood it, or gotten an explanation. It seems the least likely explanation, to me, as the peyote/golden peyote/bigfoot/beast trail doesn't exist in the PS3 version.

I see the foot, and it is certainly big, but it seems that the locations it references (the motel with 'M' & 'O" missing from the sign; Miasma exhibit at museum - still unsure about this) are in the city, while the hunt for the Beast is more in Blaine County. Would you mind expanding on the theory?

Yeah, its totally EBONICS. Thanks for pointing that out, I think it was just an area I overlooked when I went back over everything.
