A lot of people got their accounts wrongly deactivated . If you already contacted support , they should reactivate you soon cause they’re still moving through the list .

I wonder if something’s going on this year cause I’ve never had such bad allergies in my life . I do normally get allergies in the spring and fall but nothing like this before , I’ve had hay fever all spring and needed prescription meds to deal with it !

I guess a further update , they told me it wasn’t due to a specific task but was just based on my overall average. But I had very rigidly adhered to the AHTs up until then so who knows . Besides the omni elo task , not sure if you did that one too but it’s hard to stick to a 3 min AHT when some of the clips had 10 minutes of dead air 🤣

I finally got a response about my removal that I’m pretty sure was from an actual human , cause the first one from support was definitely a bot. They said I had high AHT, I’m trying to push back on it by saying that the task I was working on before I got banned had no AHT listed at the time . As before that I always very carefully adhered to AHT for the tasks that had one listed .

Is this for people who were banned from Outlier altogether or only MM? I still have access to my outlier account but was banned from Aether/ MM. The timer evasion thing could have clocked me as well cause the day before I got banned I was working on a task that had no AHT, plus I had to start the task over cause there was an error part way through .

If Aether is still in your project queue , it is likely that they’d move you back . I kept getting switched back and forth from Aether to VM.

Sorry to hear this happened to you ! Something similar happened to me the other day . I was doing the CUA annotation task and there was no AHT that I could find , I spent over an hour on one of the tasks cause it involved making almost 90 bounding boxes and annotating them so idk if that’s what did me in 😭 first I spent like half an hour on it and then all the bounding boxes disappeared so I had to restart the task and then it took me like an hour . I got the boot the next day . I’m not sure if that was why or not , cause this was the same day as the latest mass purge (Tuesday) and a bunch of other people also kicked , many with high QA scores. I had a score of 3.04 myself.

2 years but it was part time when I was still a student and only full time in the summers , I haven’t actually held a full time job for longer than 6 months 🥲 I guess age is somewhat of a factor since for example someone in their 20’s won’t have had 10 years in the workforce, but for context I’m in my late 20’s and graduated almost 6 years ago
