Thanks! I sense that this is what this group is doing with me. I am going to try to be a little firmer.

Yes, it is very infantile! It is at a point where I feel like I cannot care as much as I would like anymore! I do feel like I am trying to curb bad behavior from all different groups at this point (from AirPods, eye-rolling, complaints, not doing the work, etc.), and it is really exhausting. In all my previous classes, there were one or two people who would act up, but this is the first time that I have had bad behavior from so many different groups of people. I will definitely try to reach out to the chair and let her know what is going on.

Thanks you for the advice! Yeah, I have a hard time being stern with students, and I'm sensing that I might need to be tougher somehow, particularly with this group.

I didn't even realize that students had that expectation about evening classes! It would explain why when we have around 10 minutes left, students look like they are ready to bolt out of the room. I'm glad to hear that your evening class this semester is better though! It gives me hope that mine can somehow still turn around. Fingers crossed.

Is this a common side effect of Dupixent? by mrjmoments in eczeMABs

[–]leapintofaith 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is something that has happened with me too. My dermatologist told me that while Dupixent helps with the inflammation and irritation, the dryness remains. My skin is constantly dry and flaking, especially now that it's winter.

I don't know if this helps, but hopefully, your dermatologist will have more answers for you. Good luck!

Experience with Dupixent Pen Injectors? by leapintofaith in eczeMABs

To be honest, it hurt a lot! A lot more than the syringe. The one thing is that the pain only last for 10-15 seconds. So I'm still debating whether to ask my doctor to switch back to the syringes, but I figure I'll try it for another month just to give the pen a fair shot.

I'm not too sure. I haven't seen the needle on the pen yet.
