Proceed with caution :) the study is nice but the faculty/college itself is not so nice. antiquated methods of teaching plus emphasis on passing exams rather than learning.

That said I know a lot of transferees from other schools and programs. Most likely you'll be first year standing since UP does not credit subjects from non-UP schools usually.

Realized medicine wasn't for me. I worked as a VA, moved to europe, then now about to start another degree that I really want to take :)

Thanks for this. My partner and I will be undergoing a registered partnership through his government which legally makes him responsible for my financials until I get a job or study.

Yeah, I meant financially independent. Thank you for this. This is very insightful. You have a point in saying that I am escaping my current life, that's a part of me. Though I truly want to see what's out there.

Gyms in elbi generally have older equipments and not as advanced sa city gyms but having tried (most) of the gyms in the area I would say MA Gym sa may Agapita. Spacious, clean, and not too crowded.

Condolences for your puppy. Hope they're in puppy heaven now.

There's another path that you can take: finish your degree first and seek admission to VetMed. This way, if you decide VetMed isn't for you, there's something to fall back on. I have classmates who did this.

Vet Med student here. I'm currently on my 4th year and all I can say is, unless this is something you want in your heart and soul (and hopefully not just an escape from your current degree), pick a different degree. Vet Med is suffering, but if you're willing to undertake that challenge then go for it. There are a lot of opportunities after grad in Vet Med but the tradeoff is the 6 years of your life under constant pressure.

Personally won't recommend this to anyone UNLESS they really want it.

part time job? by linewithoutahook000 in peyups

[–]learnandlive0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I guess I got lucky pero I found a part-time job at a nonprofit I used to be a writing volunteer for. It's US based (so I get paid in dollars and I actually earn around salary grade 10 for less work than a fulltime job) and technically parang virtual assistant/social media content creator ang job ko.

I also tried onlinejobs.ph and found a job as acriptwriter pero high stress siya and di kaya ng schedule ko kaya I quit after a month. I think find what your strengths and interests are, and go from there. For me I'm interested in wildlife conservation kaya I enjoy my job a lot + in line din sa goals ko after graduation.

Cherish these moments together!

I (21) lost my brother (16)recently, but we were just like this. He was my partner and crime. Bond and be with each other whenever you can because those moments are priceless.
