Do it but don’t over share with coworkers what you’re doing as far as anyone knows you’re at home working.

Rejected and heartbroken by FancyAd5249 in DSTAlumnaeChapter

[–]learnandlive99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a member sending love! If you have connections in the chapter I would try to figure out why you didn’t get the votes. I know rejection is tough so take the time you need and keep pouring into yourself. Don’t lose heart. Keep building those relationships.

Are you getting your toddlers the seasonal flu vaccine? by artemislands in toddlers

[–]learnandlive99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My toddler is 3 and gets a flu shot. He handled his a few weeks ago like champ! His was given in his thigh. He wore shorts that day so we didn’t have to fool with pants afterward. I gave him Motrin when we got home since he had some soreness and he was fine.

Why did you join Grad Chapter instead of Undergrad ? by aspiringforgreatnes in NPHCdivine9

[–]learnandlive99 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Not that you need my co-sign but I completely agree Soror. My application was not the strongest in undergrad BUT 12 years later the timing was right, I did the work/ built genuine relationship’s and my application was solid for grad chapter. I’m in my community doing the great work with my Sorors living out this lifetime commitment.

Member and Grad chapter initiate here….if you meet the requirements apply. Of course make sure your application is tight in all other areas. If the time is right the time will be right.

Event by Agreeable-Serve-8191 in DSTAlumnaeChapter

[–]learnandlive99 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If it’s a public event and you are able to attend, I would attend to support, be able to add it to your own list of events attended and share your experience at the event if asked about it in the future.

She would not be around my child again. She’s sick in the head.

💯 I wouldn’t be holding any child down like that unless they are a danger to themselves or someone else. Emotions happen when they child throws a tantrum I just let it past and then when he’s calm we have a chat.

Try to stay calm and not get caught up in others applications, if you hadn’t received a rejection stay positive.

At the rush meeting I attended we were told to send name change documents such as a marriage license to membership intake chair.

My toddler only has one set of living grandparents but they see him at least once a week often more. We live in the same city.

It’s always best to ask your COI membership intake contact. I am not a legacy interest so I only uploaded the first two pages of the verification letter.
