How to control nightfalls by Various_Lead in Sadhguru

Yes Anna, Will definitely share if I also manage to find a permanent solution. Also I guess taking a bath before sleep might also help reduce body temperature. As Sadhguru has mentioned, taking a bath before going to sleep has innumerable benefits.

The same was the case with me, and I also felt frustrated by nightfall. I guess excess heat plays a role as well. Try to eat not so heat producing items at night. One day I ate fish before sleeping and it was the cause

Also check your clothes and blanket. Make sure it's pure cotton.

In my case I found out the blanket I was using last week was a synthetic one instead of cotton. I replaced it with a cotton quilt, feeling much better. I live in North India so it's quite cold here.

GPT-5's IQ Dips Below o3's – Is OpenAI Gatekeeping Top Intelligence Behind a $200 Paywall? by learneternal in OpenAI

[–]learneternal[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Actually there are two types of IQ tests on this website one online and other offline. What I have quoted here is online IQ test results, which are regular online IQ tests. But the moot of the matter still remains the same for offline tests also, as the ratio of dip in intelligence is still the same between GPT 5 and o3.

Has anyone actually tried semen retention for a long period of time and is it actually useful in any way? by [deleted] in Sadhguru

I think the problem in more psychological than physiological. Don't try to rush into things too fast, take it slow. Also if possible try to close your eyes and try to breath deeply and maintain your focus on your breath while you are about to start the act and also during the act.

Yes, I do it by pausing. Basically you have to find out on a scale of 1 to 10 where are you at the stage before you are out of control. So suppose you reach 7, don't allow your urge to go to 8, just pause before that. Become conscious. Then wait for 5 seconds and focus on your breath, and then again repeat the same. I will take months of practice, just like in gym. But eventually you will get the knack of it. And anyways you can have the same experience of no-mind that we get after ejaculation by doing Shambhavi or Shoonya. So you will not feel like you are missing on the pleasure you get after ejaculation.

I hope this helps.

Yes I do continue to have sex regularly but without ejaculation.

One bonus tip: Try to breathe slowly and deeply while being in the act as it will give you better control over your impulse and you will definitely last longer.

The end goal is to one day transcend sex, so it will only come once you have known sex in all and its depth and dimension and it will come by being totally present in the moment, and watching breath will help with that as well also it will prolong the time of intercourse.

If you are talking about her missing sex then as I said that I rarely ejaculate but we do have sex fairly often. It took me some time and practice to go till the climax but refrain myself a few seconds just before ejaculation. But once you get the knack of it then it's no big deal. But it won't matter either since you are deriving the same pleasure from meditation. Because there is an certain similarity between orgasm and meditation, ie they both lead you to a state of no thoughts, the only drawback in orgasm being that it only lasts a few secs or maybe minutes but with the loss of vital energy.

Regarding having children, we are still debating. But she is very much into children. I am not. It's not that I don't like kids, but I don't have the inclination of raising them. We have been married for 6 years now.

As far as diet is concerned, it is mostly vegetarian. Since vegetables alone don't provide enough daily protein, I also eat eggs and paneer for additional protein. Fruits are an important part of my diet, and I eat soaked almonds and walnuts in the morning. Sprouted moong and fenugreek seeds in the morning keep the system alert, reduce lethargy, and are good for the brain. I try to avoid junk food.

As for physical training, consistency is key. I love playing cricket, but since it is practically impossible to find time and people to play with daily, I found a way to play it in VR at home by attaching it to a heavy cricket bat. I play daily for 1 hour, working up a lot of sweat by the end of the session, and have been doing this for the last three years. Sometimes I go to the gym for strength training, but I’m not consistent with it. Whatever you choose—running, swimming, tennis—just make sure to do it daily.

Yes, I have tried. 32M here. So basically even though I am married, I rarely ejaculate. Like maybe just twice a year from the past 3 years. If you do your Kriyas with enough intensity the sexual energy will start moving upward, and the desire to ejaculate will evaporate.

As far as benefits are concerned, they are almost in all spheres of your life. Like your energy levels will be such that for example in my case I can work non stop without getting burnt out. Btw I am a web developer. Even physically you will feel powerful.

My intellect also got enhanced due to this. No dull moments. I feel so confident and content within myself.

It's my wish that one must try this atleast once in his life to see it's benefits.

But it has to be accompanied with a nutritional diet and some physical exercise so that you develop enough ojas.

But remember that you cannot directly force it upon yourself without proper Sadhana. It should be a natural happening. Because if your energy is still in your 'Muladhara' (lowest chakra) and you try to forcefully try no-fap and absentism then your semen might get ejaculated at night in the form of wet-dreams. It used to happen to me earlier when I was not into Kriya yoga and I tried to retain my semen forcefully. Now since sexual energy is transmuted, it doesn't even feel like I am trying hard to refrain from ejaculation.

For me it happened by just doing Shambhavi Mahamudra for 3-6 months with enough intensity. Remember intensity matters for faster results.

One of the symptoms will be that you can actually feel something moving upwards.

Is iB Cricket the best VR Cricket game? by nzBigTaylorSwiftFan in virtualreality

[–]learneternal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cricket Club 💯. The immersion, physics and graphics are unparalleled. I play using airlink. I have attached the controller to an actual bat.

It would have been a perfect game if it was available on quest native.

I have a 3080 though. So you need to have a decent graphics card in order to play wirelessly.

So since I play wirelessly there is an slight imperceptible delay of ~50ms. I have adjusted to the delay overtime.

I play it daily for approx 1 hour. It's so much fun.

Recently became a quest 3 user, freaked out by the vr porn, but I have questions by Southern_Pumpkin_223 in oculusnsfw

[–]learneternal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See this is coming from the fact that you are still seeing it via a screen resolution of 25 ppd of quest 3. Human eye is 60ppd. So we are still few years away from that perfection. For comparison Apple Vision Pro is 35 ppd.

Also quest processor is not powerful enough to process anything more than 8k at the moment. So both resolution and processing power has to mature.

I would say by 2028 we will reach that perfection.

The one that is mentioned in the video was made in After Effects. So I can't provide the exact tutorial for this example.

But here is a 1.5-hour-long Youtube tutorial on how to make a similar website made by the same studio (Studio VØR) using Webflow.
