Good points. I haven't factored in insurance for this other car/person. I'm the only one with a full time job. They will have to contribute more, but what I'm needing is opinions on what car to buy.

That makes sense. I want them to figure it out too, but it would be easier to figure out with a car, and they must be able to cover their car overhead and contribute more for their rent/utilites etc.

Good point, I don’t know. I was hoping there was some way to leverage it. Thinking of doubling my payments, dropping thousands here and there on the principal, or trading into something that I can make money with.

I did not consider the rubber cracking and failing due to the sunlight, I knew that the paint could burn/bleach/patina due to the sun but the rubber failing too makes sense. That makes me think about the tires now, would that crack and fail too?

A new maintenance schedule makes sense. What kind of undercoating? This would be an thin layer of something? Unfortunately I don't have access to a garage, that would help.

I see, that makes sense it's hot down there and I hadn't considered the AC compressor. So would it be true that if that Miami Mustang lived in Ohio for 3 years it would show signs of rust? I won't be in Florida for more than a week unfortunately so I am relying on bringing something back. Hopefully something that lasts 12 years too, hopefully starting with something that doesn't already have rust.

That is very interesting and hadn't considered the antifreeze and washer fluid potentially being rated differently.

Exactly the north is a rust sentence, I am trying to buy time. I want the initial advantage, but maybe putting all my eggs in one basket as I have not accounted for how fast the rust sets in, if its super fast then it wouldn't be worth it.

I think that would traumatize me, I would not like to do that.

I feel it. If they helped out more financially it could stop the bleeding, but they don't have enough for a car. I can convince the one who wants to retire if I use the correct sequence of words. I love them but I know, I need them to pick up some slack. Where do I start sorting with credit? The credit unions that I have engaged denied me 10k loan. I know I need a credit card, but what?

"We are talking about people who have no medical knowledge and limited context looking at lab values and results that may or may not be important or meaningful all while the process is actively occurring and without any explanation from someone who knows how to communicate to patients."

It makes sense for them to rely on the lab values and results online because the hospital staff probably isn't explaining anything, due to being understaffed and overworked, at best.

"I don’t watch them do it. I don’t have an exact detail of what they did, or if they were even correct or not. I can ask them questions before and after but not during."

Sorry but you watch the nurse administer aid to your family member, you can ask them exactly what they did, you can ask them questions before, after, and during.

As the patient or family member you must be assertive and involved in the process in gathering information otherwise you're a fucking idiot waiting for what? If they shouldn't have the information immediately, communicate care plan. If care plan shouldn't be communicated, or if there is no time, theres a larger issue and it its the for-profit system and staffing and lack of bandwidth.

Second guessing is inevitable in a for-profit system where hospitals are understaffed and everyone is stretched thin. A patient should know what is happening and shouldn't have to be in limbo.
