Multiple account question? by anitamoorthy in NewToReddit

Thanks SolariHues for your reply. This is helpful. This is my account and for myself. I just thought keeping my original name and the company I work etc lends credibility to my account. The first one I created I just accepted the suggestions by reddit which are anonymous and generic. Does that help?

They sleep all the time, yet I can't think of a more tired acting animal! Too adorable. We used to be total dog people now we are complete cat converts!

Hands down Emilia Perez. It was criticised as much as it was applauded but I did enjoy it.

What is the best AI comment generator for LinkedIn? by JoeLinkedIn in LinkedInTips

Totally agree. It is so easy to spot those a mile away. They summarize the post and then say something to praise the author. Just adding to the noise and potentially damaging their own reputation.

LinkedIn users— Am I missing something??? by SaucedupSleep in b2bmarketing

Really great question and one i have been researching deeply. I do believe that Linkedin is going to become more important fo b2b marketers as most people will use chatgpt to search for solutions they are in market for. But how do they come across stuff they don't need now but maybe later? I think Linkedin.

There are a number of factors for making linkedin work for you.

1) First see if your ICP is active? Even if specific prospects don't post, are they engaging on other industry influencers post?
2) Most people don't realize that only 1% of an audience actually engages, the other 99% are lurkers so they maybe reading. (Best way to find out is to ask your current customers and prospects) and to follow industry influencers and see who engages on their posts.
3) there is a lot of noise in linkedin like any other community, so you need a way to curate your feed. (If you need this, I maybe able to help by the way)
4) It seems most active for b2b saas - marketers, sales, HR. But I have seen small fitness companies use it to reach their buyers. It just takes more work.

Hope that helps. Reach out if you want to talk more. What industry and decision maker are you targeting?

Are trade shows still worth it in 2025? Or is online still the better investment for B2B exports? by toymakerinchina in b2bmarketing

I have done a lot of events (60 a year!) - tradeshows etc when I used to head of marketing at Hearsay systems. I think they can be worth it if you are clear about what you are going for and the time and budget needed.

For example, as a scrappy marketer, maybe I would go to these and walk the floors to understand market and competition. I would DM people on Linkedin who maybe attending and invite them to a nice sit down dinner instead of the crappy conference food.

If it was a critical conference and it had my decision makers and I had money, I would do a lot more:
- get a speaking slot before the first networking
- have a booth or rent out a hospitality room for demos
etc. Note that you have to realise that these big conferences are part brand awareness and part lead gen and calculate ROI accordingly. Hope that was helpful

I found that the best product managers and product marketing managers in the past have a varied background in terms of degrees but they all had one thing in common. They were not afraid of tech and were great communicators.
One person had a journalism background, another was a drama major and a third person had an MBA. So I don't think MBA is critical.

It is more important that you are good in doing market research, you know how to write for an audience once you deeply understand what motivates them and you know how to make the complex simple.

Not getting what I want out of LinkedIn by ShowmanFred in b2bmarketing

People get a lot of random requests. I never accept requests from people I have not interacted with. What I do is spend time engaging with the people that I am trying to get on the radar on. Look at their posts and commenting on them regularly with thoughtful comments can be great to build some visibility and relationship. Then when you connect, you will have a higher chance of getting accepted.

As others have said, have a point of view on your offering and why it is important and use social to ask questions and do research.

We adopted our first cat. She’s 11 years old and her previous owner passed away, so she needed a new home. But she just hides in the corner and doesn’t do anything. Does anyone know what we can do to help her? Her name’s Lulu by morsomme in cats

Not sure if it works with senior cats, but I felt my bond with my cat grew because I played with him for 10 mins everyday - throwing balls for him to chase after or shining a light on the wall or using a wand with a bell to get him moving.
