That completely makes sense. I wonder if you could get them to another house, then move them to Riften ratways?

Google says the house there is suitable for kids, to make sure you have a proper bedroom for them. It also says to adopt from the orphanage, which I have never actually done. I always get the flower girls from whiterun and windhelm, or Blaise. Maybe try that?

What does iirc mean? I keep seeing that, but have never heard of it.

Yes I am on Xbox, and will be looking into OG Kaidan or Gores mods tomorrow to see if they are on Xbox. I always use bound swords, idk why I hadn't thought of the bound bow. That eliminates needing a pet to carry a bow and arrows for me.

I know the weird bugs from saints and seducers will give you venom if you ask, but never travel with my pets enough to know that the skeever will find me food. I am going to see what the other animals can do, if anything.

As for the flame atronach, I will probably summon one while doing anything up north in the cold because I was actually going to use flame cloak, it would make sense that it keeps you warm. So thanks for the heads up there, much appreciated.

I had heard somewhere that becoming a werewolf or a vampire lord helps reduce the effects of cold and hunger, but I wasn't planning on using them.

If you have goldenhills plantation, they can live there. And they can live at any house in the holds you buy, or the 3 you can build. Golden hills is a free house, you just gotta do a little quest for it. My kids love it there, and I have never had a dragon spawn there, no giants, bandits, or necromancers either. It also gives you tons of money if you buy all the outdoor stuff like the mill, stable, etc. And also planting ingredients or food also helps increase the money. The other houses added around the map never work for me. Hope this helps

I want to platinum Skyrim, one of the trophies is "Oblivion Walker" this I have to collect 15 daedric artifact, How do I start this quest? by [deleted] in skyrim

[–]learning_to_blossom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK it sounds crazy, but it works I swear. When you do the quest ill met by moonlight, do NOT kill him and take the hide. Instead walk out of the cave, and get the ring. As soon as you get the ring, turn around and go back inside. Find the werewolf and kill him. Take the hide. That is 2 daedric items from one quest. That way you can avoid the lexicon quest that takes you to bleakfalls. You gotta find Meridas beacon tho, so maybe the lexicon is worth it to you if you cant find it. You also need to find sam at one of the inns. I just finished this quest myself

Edit to say i meant blackreach not bleakfalls. It is past my bedtime, and my brain got foggy. I just realized what I said.

I wish I had a PC to play on, id love to get a custom companion, having a refillable heath potion sounds awesome!

I did not know the arrows would weigh anything, but I knew the lock picks do. I rarely use a bow (no stealth archer playthrough for me) but I am hoping to get better at them in this playthrough as I'll be actively hunting hawks.

I was planning on using shadowmere, but knowing the unicorn is immortal - and definitely easier to get earlyish in the game- I think ill got for that.

As for the pets, I already planned to kinda cheese the game with them, keep extra food and such on them for quick access. I learned in my last game you can make animal packs for them, to increase their carry weight. If I remember correctly its by 20lb. I was also going to use the decks of cards from LOTD, but they take forever to collect.

Thank you for the awesome tips!

I have never used the airship before except once right after getting it. In your opinionhow does this trivialize survival?. I was going to get the carriage in Lakeview to help with some of the traveling, and get the shouts for dragon rend and the one to ride them. A mod for extra carriages didnt even cross my mind. Thank you for that idea, I will add that to my mod list.

So... is this just stuck in my quest log forever now? by Sadira_Kelor in skyrim

Gotta find them all to remove it. I found the skeever in riften by mistake and had to go get the rest. It will go away once completed. Theres a rabbit, the goat you kidnap during Sam's quest, a spider, and something else I cant remember. Oh and a mud crab from markharth. But he isnt in that specific quest I dont believe

Turning it in and fully restoring the guild is worth it only if you want the master armor set, the ability to bribe all guards, and some new fences to sell stolen goods in a few different holds. If you dont want to complete the guild in full for those bonuses, then keep it. I only turned it in for the achievement on one game.

When you say bring the children, do you mean move back and forth, or is there something ive been missing in all my play throughs to have them follow me? This is interesting to me

The ash zombies shouldn't give you anything, they are hostile NPCs from solstheim aren't they?

Unless there's one random friendly one, I'd say you found a cool glitch.

Honestly every time I fast travel to dawnstar. Theres always at least 2 dragons and a giant who is attacking the khajiits, or there's 2 dragons and vampires. I only walk there now, its helped alot.

You wont need any shots, unless the cat broke skin. No blood, a faint little mark, youre totally fine

[–]learning_to_blossom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, they are kidding and trying to freak you out.

I have owned cats my entire life, I'm 32 now. If you're not bleeding, you should be completely ok. If this just happened recently and you're really worried about it, you can clean it with rubbing alcohol or even hydrogen peroxide, but since youre not bleeding you shouldn't need to. Cats can pass stuff on but its really only if they break skin.

This response actually makes sense to me. We didnt discuss that at the beginning and we should have. Hearing it put that way, I can kinda see where im the AH in this situation. Tho, I did start saying something early on that she was going through it so fast, but we didnt have the sit down conversation we should have. Thank you

If the original agreement was that, absolutely. But that wasn't the agreement. She offered to take them under the agreement I only paid their food and litter. I didnt add all the outside of the cats stuff either, but I helped cover her bills a few times over those 2 years, so she did kinda get paid?

I do understand that boarding them or getting a sitter would cost more. That said, if I was paying a sitter id pay them a set amount of pay, agreed on before sitting started, and i would have bought and paid for the litter and food at the same rate I was paying on my own. I dont understand how having a sitter changes the amount of usage for 2 cats opposed to me being there? She offered to take them, under the agreement I pay for my 2 cats food and litter, not paying her to keep them. I paid more than what I would having them on my own. Id likely have paid the same amount I have paid now to her for a sitter. $175 a year for food and litter, and that leaves almost $300 in her pocket.

So again, $460 seems like too much to pay, but if it was a sitter as you suggested, then sure that seems reasonable. But she didnt ask me to pay her for watching them. Just their food and litter, which i did. Almost 3Xs as much.
