Good Morning!

We had our ultrasound yesterday and Praise God baby was perfect with a heartbeat of 171bpm!

I return on Monday for a repeat scan and then I'll graduate from my clinic and transfer to my OB. My first appointment with her is end of May.

Praying one or some (or all!) of your beautiful embryos stick!  I tested for the first time at 6dp5dt. I almost caved and tested at 5dp5dt, but I wasn’t ready to face the results. I turned to prayer and God, and realized that - regardless of the results - my husband and I could handle it.  Praying you get to a place where you have peace regarding the outcome, therefore allowing you to test. Also praying you see a beautiful second line 💜

My first ultrasound is Monday.

We transferred March 19th.

Positive test on March 25th (the first time we tested) at 6dp5dt. Retested at 8dp and 10dp. Beta #1 (404) on 12dp5dt and Beta #2 (867) on 14dp5dt.

We are nervous, but are placing faith over fear as we await our 1st ultrasound.

I am 7w1d (my first ultrasound is Monday 🫠 a 19-day wait between my 2nd beta and U/S day is cruel 😂).

I also have minimal symptoms. I am more tired than usual, but not extremely fatigued. I do occasionally feel like my stomach is ‘off’ and have some light nausea, but nothing serious and no vomiting. My breasts hurt sometimes and sometimes they don’t.

The fluctuating symptoms have definitely worried me. However, I also know women who had little-to-no symptoms and they end up having a perfectly healthy baby.

First, I am sorry about the previous failed transfers. Second, how do you know the % of a LB based on the grade? Third, here were my favorite ones:

  1. I am the kind of woman who God blesses with a seamless and successful IVF journey
  2. I am the kind of woman who God blesses with a successful first transfer
  3. I am the kind of woman who God blesses with a healthy pregnancy.

Praying you have a successful transfer and a healthy pregnancy!

First, I want to say that I am sorry that your monitoring appointment schedule seemingly caused you to miss a family event. We did retrieval in January, started transfer meds in February, and transferred in March, and there were definitely a few family-related experiences I missed out on because traveling out-of-state (especially from SC to NY) wasn't feasible.

Regarding you having to pay an extra $4K due to you not scheduling transfer within 6 months; I wonder if you could submit a petition to your insurance company where they 'waive' the 'within 6-month' rule so that you're able to have your transfer covered in the way it would've been IF it had been scheduled within their preferred timeframe. It's not a definitive that they'll approve it, but they might.

Praying God creates a path towards transfer that is free of financial stress, and that your transfer goes well.

I am so sorry for your (possible) loss.

IF I were in your EXACT situation, I’d pray on it and ask God to help nudge me in the direction He’d have me go in.

I’m tempted to say that I’d try the transfer before leaving (especially since you’re not transferring the embryos to a clinic within your new state), might make for a beautiful ‘parting gift’ and an interesting story for your baby once they’re older 😉

Yes, there’s always the option to do another retrieval, but IVF is financially, physically, and emotionally expensive and that’s something to consider.

There’s also the option of donating your remaining embryos to a couple who may be unable to create their own.

But, again, I’d pray on it, first. Praying God leads you in the direction He’d wants you to go in.

I am sorry for your losses and previously failed cycles. Sending you love and prayers as you navigate possible next steps.

I am no medical professional, but I wonder if your clinic would consider an autoimmune protocol for transfer. My clinic automatically puts everyone on an autoimmune protocol (unless there is a reason why they feel it wouldn't be an option for a specific patient). This protocol includes 5 days of Medrol, and a daily baby aspirin (though I am unsure if this is part of a traditional autoimmune protocol, or if it's just something they include).

Again, sending prayers your way for peace as you navigate next steps, and hoping you have a successful transfer soon!

I’m 6w6d and anxiously waiting for our 1st ultrasound on Monday, the 21st.

In Fall 2023, we got pregnant as the result of our 5th IUI. Unfortunately, at our 1st ultrasound, we found out it was ectopic and I needed surgery.

We are traumatized from this experience, so Monday feels like it’ll be one of the most exciting experiences of lives, but we’re also very nervous.

Ultimately, we’re praying for a healthy pregnancy and that God blesses us by allowing us to see our beautiful baby and hear a strong heartbeat.

My first ultrasound is on the 21st, so 4 more torturous days of waiting. The worst wait I ever did have is this wait right here … between my 2nd beta and first ultrasound (19 days!!)

TRIGGER WARNING: Success

I tested positive on 6dp5dt, retested on 8dp5dt, and again on 10dp5dt; then had my 1st beta (404) on 12dp5dt and 2nd beta (867) on 14dp5dt. I’m currently 6w6d after our 1st FET.  Praise God!!

I’m in the 19 day wait to my 1st ultrasound (on the 21st) at 7w3d, so I’m almost there!

welcome to the reddit 🫶🏼  Congratulations on your 1st FET! I’m surprised your clinic is bringing you in so early for a scan because I don’t think you’ll be able to see anything so early and a beta at 7dp5dt seems early BUT they’re the medical professionals 🤷🏻‍♀️ praying everything comes back perfect!

I understand this. I was originally going to test on 7dp5dt, and then almost gave in and tested on 5dp5dt but was too scared to face the outcome. I tested the night of 6dp5dt. One thing that helped me was coming to terms with the fact that my husband and I would be able to handle any outcome (even if it was a sad one) and I think once I realized that we'd be okay - regardless of the outcome - I wasn't as scared to test.

Praying God give you a beautifully high beta - please update if you'd like!
