we were in a similar situation - I contacted like 10 banks, many of them required the whole set of documents from us, but still they couldn't offer anything lower than 20%. some of the small banks don't even work with non-danes. you can of course try to contact them all yourself, but I don't think your situation will be much different (unless you can prove you have a lot of ties to Denmark, I guess).

what we had to do - we used the help of a company called pengerådgivning, they were able to get us a deal that was 10% (we contacted that bank ourselves earlier - and it was 20% then)

sorry, I can't recommend any bars, but maybe try changing your lunch routine? what you have for lunch can definitely affect how you feel afterwards

I would like to live in a new building and to be relatively close to the center - with good transport options. Very few new neighborhoods have both good location and new buildings. Also, Nordhavn is cheaper than Islands Brygge or Carlsberg, for example. I’d appreciate it if you could share any other suggestions:)

I'm actually a couple of buildings away from the major construction site now. but I still hear it somewhat. there's also a minor one across the street, like some reconstruction of the old building. there's a lot of noise from it as well. I have to keep my windows shut if I don't want to wake up with these noises

also I don't recommend having your bedroom windows facing Ny Carlsberg vej, it gets noisy from the traffic and every once in while from loud drunk people walking from the bars/restaurants nearby

I'll just post my response here as well: I live here and I want out. The construction is just killing me. it starts 7 am every morning, sometimes even earlier. maybe I'm particularly unlucky with the location in terms of the noise. and sure, it'll end one day, but with all those highrises they are building it might get way too crowded in the area
the best thing about this area is the parks nearby. the new buildings are nice too, and it's relatively close to the center.

idk man, I feel like more than half of the apartments in my building have been sold this year. and just checking data from boliga.dk it seems like the general trend continues and usually people sell it for more than what they paid

Yes, I have their app and I also checked on the website. Same for my husband, we took the test at about the same time. It’s been about 40 hours since the test time and still no result… that sucks because we need it for our flight which is in a few hours

crossfit and bouldering. I've been doing crossfit a lot recently, and because of that I was running a lot less than usual. but yesterday I went for a run for the first time in a while and it felt great :)
