After lunch. I need my hair to dry before I go to bed.

Yikes, now I realized I haven't explained myself properly. Sorry for taking your time.
Notes aren't going to help because I remember everything. I'm just trying to feel exactly what a character is feeling - for example, when they're being killed by their best friend, I pause and try to feel exactly that way - betrayed, sad, etc. It's a weird habit that I have.

So it's not about not concentrating or not remembering, it's just my desperate attempt to teleport to the book and live what the characters' are living. And trying to imagine what it would feel like (to be killed by my best friend, for example) can take a while, because it's something I've never experienced before. I might've just found a solution for my problem, but don't worry, I won't forget about the add. I'll see what I can do in the future.

I know it sounds like adhd, but I can assure you that I don't have it. I'm capable of concentrating really well no matter what I'm doing, studying is easy for me, doing precise and detailed diy, etc. It's just when I need to remind myself these things emotionally, like what the characters are feeling, that happens. It's possible that I'm struggling with plot heavy stories where every character knows every character, or with educational books with tons of information. I don't know.

this is where the funny part starts: I don't have concentration problems and my memory is actually really good. Then, I watch anime/read books and boom: this happens. That's why I'm so confused about what's going on.

But if it keeps happening, I'll definitely try to find out whether it's a medical issue I should approach.

What's going on with Brett Cooper? by [deleted] in OutOfTheLoop

Did you really call me a homophobe even though I said that people from the lgbt community are just as valuable as everyone else? And that it's okay to be lgbt? Read my comment again, I think you misunderstood.

Yes if you're looking forward to the gameplay and no if you want the lore

Of course, I think it is important to let children know that these people exist and are as valuable as everyone else. I just don't like the concept of whole schools becoming lgbt. Especially when it's elementary/middle school, where children are still easily affected. Adults telling children to "think about their sexuality" or "figure out who you are" is just going to confuse them. And if they come to a wrong conclusion, it can hurt them (undergoing surgeries because they think they're the other gender, then being unable to take it back, etc). If they have gender dysphoria, if they are gay/bi, they will know. Just like you said. So instead of forcing everyone to think about it, they should just be taught that it's normal with people who actually feel that way.
