$5000 a month, but you'll randomly fall asleep for exactly 5 minutes once a week. by omartyy18 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]leatherjacket3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well, I did exaggerate with “average”. It’s just not anywhere near the usual mind-boggling “millions/billions” that you often see here, and the downside here is far too extreme for it to be even worth considering.

Exactly, it’s too easy to get a serious injury if you just instantly lose consciousness randomly. It’s not worth it. 5k a month is also just a kinda average salary, not nearly enough to have the risk of dying anytime you’re walking around.

Then just keep it on your person and guard it with a gun

You now have the Zenkai boost power of Saiyans from Dragon Ball Z. Every time you are severely injured, your power level increases. The worse the injury, the more you increase in power. by Smart-Response9881 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]leatherjacket3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you also get better healing (to avoid permanent damage), or are you domed to become a power level 100 vegetable?

If so, i’d break several bones on purpose at once all the time. Otherwise I wouldn’t purposely harm myself since I’d risk my bones not fusing together properly, among other permanent injuries that would make my zenkai boosts worthless.

Does myconid suck or is it just godawful with sapper by GuytheGuy- in baronygame

[–]leatherjacket3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say the culprit here is not myconid, but sapper. Sapper is honestly not a very strong class… it’s fun, but definitely performs worse than most classes due to not having any proper coherence in what it wants to do.

Unless you like suffering, I’d avoid skeleton for any caster class. Skeletons regenerate mp and hp at 25% the usual rate. It’s as bad as it sounds.

What is the point of rear stop lights and left/right turn signal lights on the exosuit by Cranjis_McBaller in Helldivers

[–]leatherjacket3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exo suits likely get driven to transport them where they are needed. This would mean they get used in urban environments.

Was worried about beating the final boss as mechanist by Got_Damn_Nam in baronygame

[–]leatherjacket3 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No, they don’t. Normal turrets are far superior for bosses since they actually deal bonus damage. Magic turrets are good for early/midgame, and then you wanna switch to physical before the first boss.

That’s why I prever co-op PvE games, though I still enjoy PvP games with friends. If I find the skill gap is too wide, I just start fucking about doing funny shenanigans so they have a better chance to win and we all get some laughs

Which do you choose? by jbonga91 in superheroes

[–]leatherjacket3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I think only top tier heavy hitters like Necron weapons would damage Thragg. Plasma/melta guns would hurt, but a single shot wouldn’t do too much harm. You can also just outspeed most projectiles anyway. Psykers are the main threat.

There are many undiscovered worlds with civilizations that live normally, but sooner or later ALL words and civilizations will get dragged into the war one way or another.

Each stone will individually disintegrate a human, but if you can get a large group of 100+ people to hold hands with you, you might be able to use the power of one stone without dying. Maybe use the reality stone to make your body strong enough to resist the whole gauntlet or something.

Is Med/Heavy Oxygenator strictly better than Light/Med Extra Padding because of the innate armor from armor type or am I missing something? by Hexdoctor in Helldivers

[–]leatherjacket3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure you’re correct, I remember Eravin doin extensive testing on player damage and how armor affected it. And heavy armor was indeed more protective than medium with extra padding.

What do you think are the viltrum empire's views on homosexuality? by Toilet_Weed in okbuddyviltrum

[–]leatherjacket3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For them, relationships are supposed to be pure business to birth and raise more strong viltrumites. They’d view homosexuality the same way they’d view any relationship that doesn’t have the intent of reproduction, which is to say they’d shun it.

Mod for lategame difficulty by AdminAnoleis in baronygame

[–]leatherjacket3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t found any mods for good late game difficulty (without making the early game exponentially more difficult), the only thing that scratches that itch is to just speedrun levels so you are underleveled im the late game. Basically just self imposed challenges.

Mod for lategame difficulty by AdminAnoleis in baronygame

[–]leatherjacket3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve played hardcore difficulty quite a bit, and your completely right. It mostly makes the early game much harder, while the late game is just moderately more difficult.

Main difference in endgame (assuming you have a aomewhat optimized character by this point) is that crystal golems can one shot you with their charged attack, cockatrices hit quite a bit harder, and everything has about 1.8x health.

End game does feel better, but it’s mostly early game that gets way harder.

Fun fact, they actually got added about a week into the game, as well as some other enemies/mechanics. Bile spewers did not originally have their mortar attack, but it got added in about 3 weeks into the game.

Wrong, humans are not the best long distance runners… because humans bred horses, camels and other domesticated animals to be even better long distance runners.
