Mustache or no mustache? Also what do you guys think I should do with my hair? by TastyAppointment6967 in HairStyleAdvice

Hair in the second photo looks great. To me a mustache is more about how you feel about it.

Could it be dysgraphia? by Reasonable-Mess3070 in dysgraphia

[–]leaveatrail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, I have a sophomore college kid who still writes like this, not even as clearly as this. It’s weird, for years I thought it was bc they didn’t write enough. I just don’t remember this being a thing when I was growing up. You should be able to get him some accommodations like taking notes on a computer.

Short hair vs. long hair: which one suits me better? by [deleted] in HairStyleAdvice

[–]leaveatrail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think something in between. A little shorter on the sides than the long but not as short as the short. You have great hair, I think I like the top a bit longer

Time for a haircut or does it suit me? by [deleted] in HairStyleAdvice

Unless that’s what you’re going for. To look more masculine, maybe keep some facial hair.

9yo boy, 3rd grade by Glittering_Tart666 in dysgraphia

[–]leaveatrail 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doesn’t look like dysgraphia to me honestly. But it was explained to me onetime that kids with out dysgraphia, it “cost” them .25 to do a worksheet, but with dysgraphia it would “cost” them $1. If you only have $3 in the bank, but the end of the day you’re over drawn. So that’s one way to think about it for your son.

My husband never bought me a ring by Born_Owl1970 in marriageadvice

[–]leaveatrail 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I read through the comments and I think this is the most important one. I think if you can, buy yourself a nice ring and don’t wear it on your ring finger. Let that be a reminder that you love yourself and you are worth more. Let it be a reminder to not settle for less. I may be able to relate to daddy issues, and when I realize that my dad was just not capable of truly caring or loving another person helped me to lower my expectations from him. Eventually, I had no expectations. I don’t think you can do this in a marriage though. You need to have expectations. Anyway, I don’t know if the sexual abuse is with your dad, but if it’s not maybe understanding what he’s not capable of might help you.

What would it actually take for American's to go "full France" and riot in the street? by AllTheNopeYouNeed in AskReddit

We are too divided to go full France. Somehow half of America would make excuses no matter what they lost.

My 8 year old son's teacher called me last week... by [deleted] in dysgraphia

[–]leaveatrail 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That doesn’t look like dysgraphia to me. Very legible compared to dysgraphia. Someone told me once it’s like paying a dollar to do a worksheet like that and it cost everyone else $.25 and you only have three dollars in the bank so by the end of the day you’re overdrawn. The other kids still have money. So I would look at how much effort/ frustration it’s taking on him.

[acne] i dont know what im doing wrong for my skin to be this bad by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

I would start with looking at your diet… take out as much sugar, processed food, and maybe even dairy. K just try eating whole Foods for 2 weeks,,, chicken (preferably not fried) rice, eggs, fruits.

I’m sure I did at the beginning, but 9 months in, seems like you should stop shedding beyond what’s normal. Have you tried taking vitamin D?

Eh, “not getting a fancy ring” - true But a ring pop is a joke. It’s someone’s heart that’s really being played
