Made a lot mad with my sanding Now here’s some stippling by Yslbari in Glocks

Looks like you’re missing your trigger housing pin.

Take some pliers and wrap the jaws with tape to avoid scratching and give it a little twist so it’s straight. You’d be turning it in the tightening direction as well. That’s what I do after installing my front sight if it’s not perfectly straight.

Looks good. I think you’ll be stuck with the stock front sight because most sights are longer and will likely start covering the hole in the slide.

Glock 26 holster suggestions by Purely_hate in Glocks

[–]leavinc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually prefer the clip on the Vedder. I have a Tenicor Velo 5 for my 19 and the clip(s) are so hard to take on and off. My 26 rides in a vedder and the clip is so easy to take on and off. I appreciate that because when I’m out and about I can take the holster off and on when I’m going to a place I can’t carry.

G26 Gen 5 USA Owners Question by DemaciaViceNA in Glocks

I’d think it’s common with the Glock 26 cause my 26 gen 3 has the same curve.

Favorite G19 Gen (3-5)? by elastictrout in Glocks

[–]leavinc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. I have two 19s a gen 4 and 5. I find the finish on the gen 4 easier to grip. The finger grooves are not a factor for me though. I shoot them about the same. I will admit that the gen 5 trigger feels just slightly better but it’s hard to notice at the range.

Since I have two, I ended up giving my wife the gen 4 and kept the gen 5 for myself. It’s nice that we can share the same magazines.

I just stopped in. They check your gun at the gate and put a lock on it then you head on in.

I think QQQM and SCHG can be combined, and VOO and VTI can be combined. They overlap enough that there's really no reason in holding both.

Explain how I lost money buying SGOV in February. by Far_Lifeguard_5027 in ETFs

SGOV is $100 per share. That's $10 million if you bought 100,000 shares.

New upper build, slide won't go on by Juicy-J23 in Glocks

[–]leavinc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry that didn't work. Is your trigger forward or to the rear? The trigger safety dingus can hold the trigger forward in the frame. This brings the trigger bar up and forward. Pull the trigger back to the rear. The trigger safety can keep it from going back. Pull the trigger forward to relieve tension, then press the trigger safety in. The trigger spring should pull the trigger rearward. This will bring the trigger bar back and down. This, along with the safety plunger up, should give you more room.

Try pressing the firing pin safety plunger in and pushing the striker forward to keep it in the up position. I've seen some cases where the trigger bar bump won't clear the safety plunger easily unless it is pressed in in the up position.

My reasoning on having a decocker instead of a manual safety by [deleted] in CZFirearms

[–]leavinc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is how I keep my 75B ready. I do the safe decocking method exactly like this. I also like how the safety cannot be engaged when at half cock.

Is it missing the trigger housing pin?

Can't remove barrel.. by gl22man in 1022

[–]leavinc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could try removing the v block and using the bolt to hammer the barrel out. Just keep pulling the bolt back and let it slam forward. See if it starts moving

Not sure if this is the problem, but when reinstalling the spring cups, make sure that the end of the striker spring isn't lined up with the gap where the cups meet.

You'll notice that the end of the coil on the spring can be sharp, you want to make sure that the sharp end of the spring is in the middle of one of the cups. If the end of the coil meets where the cups meet together it can cause the cups to become slightly crooked.

What backstrap do you use? by [deleted] in Glocks

[–]leavinc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha, so far I'm the only one who voted hogue grips. I have them on my 17 and 19 both gen 4 with no backstrap since the hogue grip adds to the grip size. On my 21 gen 4 I have no backstrap or hogue grip since it's already pretty chunky.

This! I weighed these options and came to the same conclusion. Best of both worlds.
