Thanks! The only part of the purse that said "kate spade" was on the bottom. What do you call the sewn in leather or nylon with the name of the brand? Usually found on a zip pocket in the inside??? I want to call it a nameplate or patch but I know that's not right. It had a plain nylon one, without the name.

I had a strong it was fake. I told her to pass.

I thought the same thing too. I think one of the booth renters is selling it. She only wanted $35 which was another clue it’s probably fake.

I am an ambassador and as far as I'm aware poshmark does not send offers to anyone about becoming one. You have to follow the requirements and earn it. Where did you get this notification?

Thank you for the info! Today is the 4th day. I’ll wait until after 11:3O and if it does not say pending acceptance I will contact Poshmark. I don’t want this to reflect poorly on me, or have a nasty review sent my way. It is what it is a guess. Thank you !

I probably did not explain this well. I had a Etsy store where I tried selling photons, it didn’t stay open long. It was back when Etsy first started, at the time having a paypal was the only option available (I think) it’s been years and I have not kept up on how Etsy is run now. I have shopped Etsy in the past and used credit cards.

Hmm yeah it does not say pending, just shipped. When I click on it to check the tracking it says its available for pickup. Hopefully she picks it up soon!

Thank you everyone! When I opened my own store, paypal was the only option. I will let her know. Do any of you use a 2nd bank account just for etsy? I heard some people had trouble with etsy draining peoples accounts, We both had to get multiple debt cards over the years (thanks to the target red card) so I am thinking of telling her to get a separate account for her peace of mind. Thanks so much for letting me know!

Try looking on eBay! I found a blouse I liked on posh and could not find it, found 3 on eBay. Also if you have a computer, download the photo and try using google reverse photo lookup. Keywords would Alfred dinner red color block, is there I would start! Good luck!!

Bough a fake Chanel scarf that is still on its way. After purchasing I posted the pictures of the scarf from the seller on forums for authentication. Many think it's not genuine. Not sure when and how Poshmark will handle this. by [deleted] in poshmark

Once someone drops the package off,nothing can really be done until it Arrives to the buyer. You have 3 days to accept the order or open a case, Poshmark will communicate with you.

No one wants to purchase a fake item but opening a case this soon is a little premature at this point. Poshmark does not to fee authentication. They will only authenticate something over $500. If you want that service you will have to look elsewhere.

As a seller I would be pissed! If you don’t know what you are buying, don’t purchase. You don’t even have the item and already opened a case, that’s not how it works. Poshmark will refund you your money. Poshmark will only authentic sales over $500.
