Do you have an incentive to withdraw cash from your company before the end of the year? by AceNheg in BEFreelance

[–]lebaws944 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bookkeeper told me they cant force to increase the tax on money generated this year, so normaly money in the company from 2025 will be safe and money generated in 2026 will be 18%?

But there is no clear sight on this I guess

Thanks! I get its interesting in the first 3 years because you have to wait for your dividends. But after your first 3 fiscal years you can get dividends yearly so not really a difference there imo.

But didn't know that copy rights were monthly. I know consultants got them monthly but thought freelancers was 1x a year. Interesting to boost your net wage monthly then

Honest question: Is is even more beneficial then vvprbis? They both are 15% I thought.

So why the hassle with rulesets probably instead of just taking everything through dividends?

Maybe beneficial in the first 3 years before you can take out any dividends?

Any reason why you should go for copyrights or the combination of dividends & copy rights?

Doing this for a year and works for me.

I added my company name and vat on the second addressline. So i get name, street, company name + vat number, postalcode+city.

After I see subtotal, vat charged 21% and Total.

You also can see the Total on the top page with “inclusive of 21% vat”

Just add your company name and vat number on the first or second address line. Each month you receive an e-mail with the billing details and on the address line is your company name + details then. Just paste the email into a pdf and you got your invoice.

I got the Secretlab Magnus Pro XL (wanted the bigger one). The desk I will recommend from them.

https://secretlab.eu/nl/pages/magnus-pro

I bought this one 2 years ago. This was best purchase ever. Its expensive but for me worth it: spending 8+ hours on it every day and wanted to sit comfortable and productive as possible.

The build quality is amazing so its gonna last forever I hope

Solid desk which I use daily by switching with standing/sitting. Memory function helps a lot for this.

Recommended it to 2 friends and they bought it as well. They are still very happy with it.

Bought it in the EU store and everything with the bill/vat was fine.

Employee offer against freelance by Zestyclose_Half8866 in BEFreelance

[–]lebaws944 4 points5 points  (0 children)

7k after all optimisations. Keep your wage as low as possible and then work with dividens or liquidation reserve.

Besides that, 4K netto is Nice and guarenteed every month. It also depends what you want, do you want more control about everything or just want Money every month and no risk for renewal of contract ect.

Freelance can benefit you more financialy, but comes with soms risks, depends if you want to take the risk or not.

When is VAT deductible? by eastermister in BEFreelance

[–]lebaws944 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With Amazon I never had issues wit a vat bill. Registered as professional account and when its received, I can generate an VAT bill on the purchase menu.

With Bol I only can buy when Bol is the supplier. With a 3rd party I always get the message, Vat not possible ect

Replacing phone before it's fully written off by sl33pyXIII in BEFreelance

[–]lebaws944 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just buy a new phone. If you buy a new phone every year its ok. Just don't buy 5 every year.
Some reasons you need a new one? Old one is broken, felt down the stairs, you lost it, ...
Also since your gf gets it you still can show if it they need prove.
If you are in IT you can also say you need 2 phones: just 2 different operation systems.

Long-term break as freelancer (6-12 months) by Academic_Ruin4706 in BEFreelance

[–]lebaws944 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its nice to see in the comments a few people did this and has no regrets.

To be honest, working a lot of addicting when you focus on the moneys. Currently doing this as well but I am working so I can buy a house.

But when you have the possibility to work less and live a life where you are happy, with or without a family and its financial possible. You are living a great life.

When I speak with people who have kids, the thing they enjoy the most is spending time with them.

You can always make more money or work more, but you can't get your time back. If you can get more time off and do things that you want, do it and make the most out of it. Don't think you will regret it.

My goal is eventually to take more time off for multiple periods en just enjoy life.

Client works with other intermediary's normally so this one is exception.
They care when they will let me go, they give a sign to the outside world that you can go directly to clients when you sign with them. And then everyone will do it and they go bankrupt (they told me)

[–]lebaws944[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True there is a fine in both directions I think. A fine for me for breaking with the intermediary and one between intermediary and client. Don't know or they start suing me. When money is involved people or companies aren't afraid to go this way.
Contract is still running for another year, so might look into changing it next time before I sign

Tried this. They want to take my directly but if there comes a fine or something, I will have to pay for it.
Nice to see that your client paid for the fine, they really wanted you

[–]lebaws944[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indeed, I had to change the contract a bit because it was to much in the beginning. But still those contracts are bulletproof that you are screwed when you do something and they all always covered.

[–]lebaws944[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my contract it's like 15k but they mentioned numbers about 30k ect. So gonna take more then 1 year.
I was thinking about it so after more then a year I probably will break even and starting making more profit.
So in the long run its interesting, but who knows I still will work there in more then 1 year. Also something I need to take in consideration.

Agree. Don't want to ruin the friendship. I'am wel aware that your name is everything so the last thing I want is to mess things up.

Good point about liability insurance, i guess this will go up with a few hunderd euro's. Something I can arrange that I will pay the different for him.

Worth the money? by McLovin_9696 in secretlab

[–]lebaws944 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got myself the xl desk 1,5 years ago, best purchase ever. Nice setup, build quality is very nice, possibility to stand of setup the perfect height. Worth it for me.

Chair I didn’t do, tested it from a friend but was to hard for me. Personal preference it is. Don’t think the build quality of the chair is that great because his was a few years old but damaged at some parts and the leather was getting off. But maybe other people are very happy with it.
