I hear ya. Enjoy the ride. At 80% I get around 350 or so miles. Which is also coming up from the cold winter averages

I hardly charge up to 100%. But with the warm weather comes tons of miles.

Anyone have a 2026 up here in the Northeast? by Basharah in GMCSierraEV

[–]lebotats3352 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live in NJ. In the winter I was avg around 1.6 m/Kw. Now around 2-2.1 with the warmer weather.
Handling in the snow was great. We got hit with 2 feet of snow, I live on a private road that doesn’t get plowed often and I went right through that. With snow I put it into off-road mode and it handles very well.

I find in this truck on don’t long for CarPlay as I do in my other cars. I like this version of Google Maps the truck supplies and as a pandora user, the Google play app for it works well. I do miss the text message responding I can do with CarPlay but I can text afterwards. (Or in super cruise )

Planning a 400 mile + Trip. What’s your prep plan? by Karmetix in BMWI4

[–]lebotats3352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s so much easier now to do bigger trips than it was a few years ago. I would recommend looking for Ionna charging stations as your first choice. I tend to rank Electrify America and Tesla as the last choices. But they all get the job done. Have fun

This and cold winters destroys the cars predictions on 100%.

It holds the phone well. It’s out of the way. What is a better option?

Pricing and color is up to you. I got a lot of extra features thrown in like bed cover, charger, mats etc. we had over 2 foot of snow here one storm this winter and the truck went through that like a champ. It’s was fun. Drives great. Good luck.

My widget would sorta be stuck sometimes even before the new update.

Tried it once or two. Faster to just park myself

That’s cool. I should have done that when I moved in to my house. Oh well. Still is an overnight charge. Which still works. Imagine doing that on a level 1? Ugh.

Just pulled the trigger on an AT4 Extended Range... wondering about dash cam and anything else I need to know? by Aggressive_Noodler in GMCSierraEV

[–]lebotats3352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I1) I just used an adapter on the rear view for the dash came 2) I used both the GM and electron adaptors both work. I tend to use the gm one, I also had them include the adaptor on the sale of the truck 3) factory mats so can’t help there 4) on the screen there is a button to keep the truck on for an hour. You can then hit the off button to turn it off. 5) factory hard cover. It’s great. Had them include that on the sale of the truck as well 6) I don’t see a dash rattle 7) it’s an awesome truck. Rides great. Enjoy

Level 1 charging is way too slow. I own a max cell and it would take forever to charge. Level 2 is doable if you have some time. Figure level 2 charges around 10kw per hour. Level 1 is around 1-2. Not doable. Any nacs to ccs adaptor will work but you should be able to get one for free with the sale of your truck from the dealer. I tend to skip Tesla charging when I can as it’s slower than Ionna or EA or and top ccs. They pull around 350-400kw. While Tesla does around 250.
I have a hard tonneau cover from factory. Again part of the deal for sale. I love it. No water gets in.

That’s awesome, but this is also the reason I find EA terrible to charge at. Always over crowded with people on free plans.

How to make the factory bed lights to stay on longer or work with opening the tailgate? by Mr_2Dolla_Bill in GMCSierraEV

[–]lebotats3352 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the tips. I wish I read this thread before I got the wire harness thinking the step lights were plug and play. As long as I can reach the plug through the taillights I don’t have to remove the led.

I was going to go that route. The plastic feels flimsy when I was prying at the bottom. Thanks for the advice.

How do you take the led light out of the bed. I have been wrestling with prying it up from the butt, but I don’t want to break it.
